I selected this room for the location to the train station. The breakfast was nice but the room was busy which made for a "stressfull" start to the day.
I didn't like that I had to carry my bags up stairs to get to my room because my room was not located in the front of the hotel where the elevator was located.

This is an excellent location if you are coming by train. It's right next to the Grand Canal but the street is not busy. Considering that it is Venice, it was not too expensive. I really enjoyed the little balcony in my room.
The room is very basic, not necessarily spotless (but clean enough, of course), a bit shabby (but this is normal, as this is Venice and the humidity gets everywhere)

Right in the heart of Venice yet it’s quiet. The breakfast was good
Our room was so small for 4ppl unlike the other room that they gave to one of our group of 4 paying same price. Also my sister in law got bug bites the first night and when we told the front desk they don’t seem concerned about it. They charged us €3.50pp cash for tax which was not mentioned in our booking.

Location was really good if you are oming by train (walking distance), but you will have to walk a bit to get to the mayor attractions. The entrance to the hotel is in the middle of an alley (not what one would expect for a hotel), but the place was nice and the staff were very helpful even recommending places to eat. I would recommend.
The location was convenient but looked a little sketchy (still worked out great).
