We loved this hotel. The staff were exceptional. We had to leave early in the morning to catch a flight and the night clerk packed us breakfast. So thoughtful. The room was also exceptional. Very clean, overlooking a quiet street. Comfy bed, lovely linens, spacious room. Wonderful renovated bathrooms.
We regret we couldn’t have stayed longer !

Excellent location, just steps off the Vaporetto stop, withe the huge added plus you don’t have to haul your luggage over a bridge, which we did for a couple of days prior to changing to this hotel. The restaurant was really good, authentic Italian food. Staff was very nice and helpful. The room was exceptional! Two twin beds with a separate sitting area with a lounge sofa. Super quaint and large room. Has a lift, but there are 4-5 stairs before it. Will be our hotel of choice any time we can get back to Venice.

Great location! Close to most of the desired sights and in between both the local boat routes and the longer distance boats routes.
Elevator was only big enough for one person and was pretty slow. We ended up taking the stairs most of the time. This was not something that would stop me from staying again. I understand that there are architectural issues that they cannot control.

Very nice historic hotel with very comfortable rooms. Attentive staff and good breakfast. They were very helpful and arranged for a water taxi to take us to the airport when we left.
Quiet in the evening and comfortable beds. We really enjoyed our stay here. Very close to the ferry/water taxi station at the Academy Bridge.

This is a wonderful little hotel. Location is great, being centrally positioned in the Dorsoduro district--you can walk from the train station but I recommend the vaporetto. The hotel is a minute's walk to the Accademia bridge, and next to the gallery.
My room was a single, so it was small, but it had everything I needed including a comfy chair. The room had a kettle and coffee/tea facilities, which you don't always get in Italy. The bathroom was nice and, incredibly, included an extendable line in the shower recess for hanging clothes to dry. This is practically unknown these days, and a huge credit to the hotel.
Breakfast was a good selection of sweet and savory offerings, including decent cereal. They make a nice cappuccino on request.
Finally, the staff were friendly and helpful on all occasions.

Rooms are comfortable, there is a restaurant on site. The breakfast is outstanding with good options for healthy eating. The staff go out of the way to be helpful. The location is quite convenient, short walk to most locations in Venice, and yet a bit distant from the crowds of tourists. Close to the Zerrare stop on the waterboat lines. The rooms have good AC and temperature control.
Nothing serious.
The shower stalls are small, so are the elevators. But this is a great value for the price.

Reception staff was very friendly. Room was clean. The hotel is well positioned and easily accessible near the Academia Bridge. There is welcome drinks in the fridge.
The staff at the breakfast room was very noisy, having continuous conversation. Shower was very small. Internet connection was not stable.

The location of the Hotel Agli Alboretti is ideal. It’s on a quiet tree-lined street between 2 vaporetto stops so it’s easy to get anywhere you need to go. There are lots of great restaurants and shops in the area and its an easy walk to St. Mark’s, Rialto, etc. The continental breakfast has lots of options and we thoroughly enjoyed sitting in the covered patio area. There is a terrace on the 4th floor overlooking the street below - a great place to have a glass of wine at the end of the day. Last, but not least, the staff was absolutely amazing - so friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay again.

The friendly and helpful staff was great
The location is perfect. Staying on the “other side” of the grand canal is much preferred. the crowds are 75% less. The authentic Venice you are looking for is right here but a bridge or short valparetto puts you in the “must sees” in minutes. Loved the private balcony and the serenade of the lone accordion player in the evening and early AM.
A little dated but really part of the charm. The AC was a little below my comfort zone. But it will do.

Excellent, quiet location on Dorsoduro, across from Accademia. Nice, comfortable rooms, excellent restaurant serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. Friendly, helpful staff. This was our third stay in this lovely hotel. We will come back!
