La Commedia was a fantastic experience.Super clean, extremely professional staff and fantastic location. I highly recommend. Highlights are the air conditioning, rooftop bar and the location. Just around the corner is an amazing restaurant Ai Mercanti.
I liked everything about the hotel. No critics.

The location is an easy walk to the Grand Canal and Rialto Bridge. Breakfast in the morning was good.
The hotel charged us 230 Euros for an 11 minute transfer from St. Lucia train station which was exhorbatent. We asked for a bottle of water at the front desk and were denied because they only put two small bottles of water in the room in the evening. The wait staff in the restaurant were uninterested in ensuring customers were made to feel welcome. We were not impressed with the service after experiencing exceptional service in our travels through Italy.

Location was amazing, right on the grand canal, room and rooftop was beautiful, helpful staff 24 hours of the day, free waters each day was a nice touch and has all of the amenities and personal supplies you would need in the room. I would definitely stay here any time I am in venice
