Everything about this Caburlotto was fabulous I had a canal view which I didn't expect it was simple and well run spotless and the breakfast was fresh and plentiful. I'd go back for sure

The price is solid for the location - it is convenient while being quiet.
The blanket they provided was extremely scratchy and left a lot of pilling on my clothing - even after a wash and dryer cycle, all of the leftover blanket residue was not removed from my clothing.

I loved the location! Easy access to buses and trains! And I loved the people! The nuns are so kind!
Only mild complaint was the bed was a little hard but really was not too bad! I’m thankful for somewhere to sleep!

Location is great and a good value. Breakfast is better than the standard Italian breakfast
There were mosquitoes in my room. I mentioned when I checked out and they said they had a machine or something I could have picked up in reception but I didn’t know to ask for this.

The property was very clean with daily cleaning of the room.
I was not happy with one of the personnel at the front desk, Elena, when I ask if I can have a large map and she very rudely said no. I know that they have the free map because I have seen it. I had issues finding my way around Venice and Google Map was not very helpful but with directions in a roundabout longer way and sometimes in a circle. I did not want to get lost at night after fireworks walking back after midnight and the large map would have help considerably. But Elena's rudeness did not help either.

It was quiet.
We were only provided two small bath towels, hand towels & face towels for a 3 night stay. A 10€ charge if we wanted an extra towel. I was told at the breakfast buffet that I was only allowed one glass of juice, and they do not provide large glasses for the juice. There was an air conditioner in the place where you eat breakfast but despite it being hot they just had the windows opened.

As you might expect in a place built for nuns, it’s space. But that suits me well.
Only issue for me was lighting because I work on my computer in my room.

Very clean and well maintained, comfortable small single room with good air conditioning and view of the garden. There were two women’s bathrooms nearby which were very accessible and clean. Nice breakfasts.

Everything was very clean, people were super nice. I stayed in a room with a shared bathroom and it was always very clean, but also you have a sink with a cabinet in your room, which is great.
Maybe breakfast could be a little better. But overall, it was all good.

I loved it (and was surprised I loved it!)l It is so very very clean, and very very quiet. I needed to spend some time working on a book manuscript and I could do so both in the common room on the first floor (where I was alone) and also out in the lovely garden that had tables and chairs. It's basically in the Santa Marta district, so no tourist hoards and yet very close to a nice bar and the calle that leads to the train station, and an easy walk to Campo Santa Margarita. I had a shared bathroom, but saw no one else. I'd stay there again tomorrow!!
