Coming from US, it was challenging to figure out the voltage system (2 vs 3 plug, converter was not able to connect, some room outlets seemed loose at the wall).

Wonderful
Location - A short walk from the central station. Still manageable even with a little bit stairs up and down required. We purposely selected the hotel with a little more walk from St Marco Plaza, so we could keep away from the crowd and noise even in day time.
Room / facilities - The room features classic Italian-style décor with a nostalgic charm, creating an elegant and timeless atmosphere. The riverside view with the balcony is definitely what we were looking for in Venice.
Breakfast - Quite a variety of choices
Staff / services - All we met were cheerful and helpful. The hotel also offered welcome drinking and snacks to ensure a relaxing settle down in our room before our exploration of Venice.

My room was cute and quaint. The property has a nice breakfast area, and a quaint patio area for you to relax after a long day of exploring.
The only thing I didn’t like was being able to control my AC - it would shut off often However this is a very quaint place. Very clean and friendly staff.

This hotel is just BEAUTIFUL and sits right on The Grand Canal. Our room was right out of a palace--just stunning. Lots of attention to detail. SO pretty! We were very impressed. The staff was delightful and just wonderful to us. The lobby also has a lovely sitting area where breakfast is served. There is a small balcony right on The Grand Canal. However, the hotel owns the courtyard beside the hotel and they have a ton of seating and umbrellas right on the waterfront. So you can easily sit out there, have a drink, and enjoy watching all of the activity. I strongly recommend this and we will definitely be back. Also, it is a 5 minute walk to the train station--if you are trying to catch a train to Milan, Roma, etc
While it is super convenient to the main train station and The Grand Canal--it is about a 25 min walk to St, Mark's Square and the Doge's Palace. That said, you an EASILY catch a water vapareto/water taxi to St. Mark's that will get you there quickly. On the other hand, walking allows you to enjoy all of the beauty that is Venice--lots of little canals, little neighborhoods, little churches, restaurants, shops, ,etc..

Anka, the concierge was outstanding. Very friendly. Very knowledgable and competent. Michael took our bags. He was very friendly. The staff was very attentive to our needs. The room was beautiful. Bravo!

Just minutes from the train station, and so easy to walk to everywhere in the city. Our room was beautiful. Excellent breakfast each morning, where we got to sit and drink coffee and watch the Grand Canal. Would absolutely stay again.
