A charming Venetian hotel! I enjoyed opening the window and peering down at the frequent gondolas passing by and the pedestrian traffic in the alley below while sipping Prosecco from the room’s mini-fridge - a great way to pass a good time while in Venice!
There’s no elevator. Given that the reception desk is up a flight and that we were then on the fourth floor…. But the hotel’s charm and superb location more than made up for that. I would certainly elect to stay there again!

The staff there were very friendly and helpful with directions. It was a little tough to find.. Breakfast food was outstanding. I would definitely stay there again.
It was a little tough to find. I would recommend maybe a sign on the front of the building. The hotel sits next to a restaurant and that’s what you see when you turn down the street.

This property is within easy walking distance to the primary spots in San Marco. Very comfortable and the staff was great!
The stairs could be a challenge for those who don’t pack light. Passageways are narrow and there is no lift. The location makes it worth the climb.

The staff is so friendly, attentive, and helpful. The location is perfect. It captures the sound and feel of Venice!
Bed was a bit uncomfortable. Considering updating the mattress and adding a less firm pillow as an option.

The location was great, close to St. Marco's Square. The quad room was perfect for a family of four. Plenty of space and overlooked a canal. Has a great old-world charm but with modern conveniences.
The only thing that may be a downside is the amount of stairs in this hotel. We had to go up to the 3rd floor then go down a floor at another set of stairs to get to our room. We are able-bodied, so it wasn't a problem for us, but may be for others.

There is a view of the canal , we were on the 3rd floor so we could still see the canal from the windows when we looked down

I liked the staff. They were very attentive and very helpful. I liked the breakfast included in the stay. They had a really good menu. I like the cleanliness of the hotel and the rooms.
I did not like that they did not have too much availability for elderly people to not have to climb stairs. I did not like the mosquitoes that would come in through the windows. I have endless amount of mosquito bites on my head and arms.
