The staff is exceptional. They really care about making their guests happy and do smalll and large things to demonstrate that. The hotel is located in Venice’s transportation hub, yet it’s easy walking distance to great restaurants and shops located in quaint and historic Venice. The picture I posted shows a table we encountered on the way back to our room after dinner at a wonderful restaurant staff recommended. It’s to make your own lavender sachet! One example of the things the hotel does to take very good care of guests. Love this place.

Excellent location for taking a cab to the airport early in the morning. Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean and modern rooms.

Nice hotel with a good staff.
The rooms are extremely small and I felt a bit uncomfortable. If it was just me traveling I might’ve enjoyed the room more but for two people it was way too tight. Also the bed didn’t help. Not firm enough.

The location was right by the bus and train station. The staff at check-in were able to move us to a queen bed after I accidentally booked a double twin.
The rooms were very small, difficult to move around in, and for the size of the facilities the room was not cheap.

The location is convenient as it's close to the parking lot and the bus station, and didn't require much walking.
Unlimited access to drinking water was appreciated
Breakfast was average
There were flies in the room and the breakfast area
The staff at the bar was not attentive - didn't look at me when I spoke to them.

Location was good and close enough to Venice train station. The building seemed new with clean and quiet rooms. The boat taxi station is accessible in 5 minutes from hotel.

Only 2 hotels in italy to have a kettle that ive stayed in, but no tea.
Staff were not on the ball and it offended me how they treated me and my Father while dealing with their mistake. I will never stay there again and Marriot in general.

The location is ideal being at the beginning of Venice with only a 15 min drive from the Marco Polo Airport. The hotel is located a short walk, maybe a block or 2 to water taxis on the Grand Canal, & the tram. We found great restaurants nearby. Walking from our hotel to St. Marks Square was very doable even for us seniors. The hotel is also walking distance to the Jewish Getto and many other sites.

The convenience of the location was excellent. It takes an automobile to get to the hotel but to enjoy Venice you have to travel by boat. The hotel is located at Roma Square, which is the end of the road for vehicles. It is also only a 5 minute walk to the water bus to take into various locations in Venice. The hospitality of the staff was great as well.
The bed wasn't as comfortable as we would've liked.
