Location only.
Worst 3 star hotel i have ever stayed in. Make a note to avoid room 121 or any room near the noisy lifts. Constant slamming noises heard from lift doors. Room 121 shares a wall with the lift on level 1. It is an old lift that is creaky and very loud. Each time it stops on level 1 or when it moves or when the doors open and shut, you hear and feel slamming. Constantly, the lift is being used and can be heard even when it doesn't stop on floor 1. In addition, from 7am, there are noises from outside and within building. The bed is by the wall so it was very difficult to sleep. Noises in the morning also of heavy furniture being dragged. There is no control of air temperature. The room feels cold at times, and there is nothing you can do about it. Staff not very friendly, younger male staff at reception told me it was a matter of luck that i had room with lot of noise and no control of temperature and did not wish to discuss it further with me. There was some hair in the sink that did not belong to me when i returned to my room after a day out. If you must book this hotel, my advice is to make a special request for a room far away from the lifts and do not accept room 121 under any circumstances.

This hotel has everything you need for a perfect stay in Turin. In a good location just a short walk from Piazza Castello and San Carlo. Staff were helpful and check in was easy. Breakfast was continental with everything you needed. Room was very clean and tidy, bed comfortable and a small balcony. I have stayed in this hotel each time I have been in Turin, would recommend. The restaurant next door is also good, service and excellent food if you did not want to venture too far. Overall, great place to stay.

The hotel was a delight and my studio apartment was well laid out, had a huge bathroom, and my balcony had live plants. There was a lot of ambiance to the courtyard outside the French doors with all the foliage and charm from all the other several stories high balconies. Although I had a kitchen, I only used the refrigerator. The staff was fabulous and politely respectful of my attempts to speak Italin. I only visited the breakfast buffet once over 5 days because I was busy, but there was plenty of good things available.
The base hardware for the bed was exposed and tricky, but I managed to get past that. I would attach a photo, but this app won't allow access from Google Photos!

Incredibly big room for myself with a complete kitchen and balcony. It was so big, that I was confused whether I was sharing it with another person. The kitchen wasn't for use and I was fine with that.
There was a smell of urine when entering the room. But opening the balcony doors did the trick.

Breakfast is not the strongest point of this hotel. Depending on what side the room is located, it can be noisy at night.

Absolutely nothing
The hotel is old, my room was literally a cramped space with old furniture. Dust everywhere. Rude staff, especially a lady who was on duty in the morning: not kind at all. Evidently courtesy doesn't live here. Rate too expensive for a low category hotel. Never again.
