Location, excellent breakfast and staff did their best to help
Rooms.First room was very noisy with old pipework or a/c so no sleep first night. Changed room which was better but shower and almost everything in the bathroom seemed broken. Plus they are so small you have to be a contortionist to use

There was a smell from the toilet when it was flushed but it improved more times we flushed.

Hotel Astoria is located within 3 minutes walk from Torino Porta Nuova station, which was excellent for our morning train departure, as well as for accessing public transport to all parts of the city. There are many eating and drinking options nearby, including gluten free. The staff were friendly and very accommodating, particularly after we had made a booking error! And the breakfast was very generous, included good gluten free options, all for a very reasonable price. The hotel generally, and the room have a charming, old-world style without being ostentatious. The seamless green efforts were much appreciated.
