Designed by Baroque architect Borromini, the Donna Camilla Savelli is a former monastery in Rome's popular Trastevere area. It offers a garden, elegant and sober rooms, and free WiFi throughout. The property dates back to the 17th-century, and features exposed wooden beams on the ceilings and precious stuccoes. Rooms are air-conditioned and offer an LCD TV with satellite channels. The location was excellent.The hotel is quiet but just 5 min walk and we were in busy streets surrounded by great restaurants.

Gorgeous property in a stunning neighborhood . The team was super nice. However, once I was taking a nap and the maintenance team just entered the door and woke me up.
I can hear every noise made outside of my door , I even had to sleep a few times with earphones to block the noise . I guess it’s the price you pay for having no carpets.

Loved the location, the quiet but lively, just a few blocks over. The grounds were beautiful, and the rooms were comfortable. Didnt have breakfast but a drink in the patio, which was lovely.
I didn't like them. Then I checked out; they tried to add 20% gratuity on top of the bill, which included the drinks that I already tipped. It was the 1st hotel that i have seen a gratitry line ever. But I was able to remove it, and I would stay here again without a doubt.

We had a wonderful stay at Donna Camilla Savelli. The hotel was very clean, comfortable, and full of charm, and the team was warm and hospitable throughout our visit. The location was perfect for us, tucked in a quiet, peaceful part of Trastevere, but just a few steps away from lively streets, restaurants, and cafés. It felt like the best of both worlds. We truly enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend it.

They add an additional charge for service that I find to be unacceptable. We give service tips when desired and that should be the guests choice. It should never be added to a final bill.

Having the court yard and bar to hang in the afternoon and evening was great. The different live music or DJ each evening was a good touch. Good cocktails. How clean everything was the great recommendations from the staff.
The showers are just open and you just end up having to clean up water after showing. While the bathrooms are very clean and well maintained, the bath / shower could use a change. Also, I it would be great if the water feature in the courtyard worked.
