The staff were truly exceptional, so kind. The rooms are light and airy. Very comfortable beds. Modern bathrooms in an old setting. Daily breakfast was exceptional. The staff went as far as to pre-pack a takeaway breakfast based on what they could see we liked from our stay on the day of our 5am airport departure. Can’t recommend them more highly, where I will always stay in Rome.

Spacious parking lot.
The room was on the 3rd floor, and the small elevator—meant only for luggage—kept malfunctioning and often got stuck on the second floor.
The room was extremely hot. Although the listing stated there was air conditioning, it was unavailable because the hotel had switched to heating for "winter", but the temperatures (15–24°C) did not justify this. The fan provided was not sufficient, and opening the window led to a noisy street situation, making it impossible to sleep.
The bathroom had a persistent, very bad smell, similar to sewer gas, and ventilation did not help.
There was no hot water in the shower, which is unacceptable for a 4-star hotel—especially after the staff argued about needing heating because it was "winter". After complaining, the hotel claimed to turn on the boiler, but after 30 minutes, the water was still cold or only slightly warm.
Basic issues like air conditioning and hot water should not require guests to complain or make special requests, but be provided proactively.

Great place to stay in Rome! The staff was very helpful and attentive during our stay. The location of the hotel is a little far away for the main city center, but it is easy to reach with public transport (bus & tram). Recommended if you are looking for a quiet and nice place to stay!
Overall, the room was confortable and clean. However, the cleaning of the showers could be improved.

Quiet room with air conditioning. The breakfast buffet was awesome. The hotel is located in a residential neighbourhood with a lot of great restaurants within walking distance. I recommend to taste the seafood in the associated Giano Bistrot. It is fantastic. Bus stops and tram # 8 are close by.
Would be nice if the breakfast would start at 7:00 instead of 7:30. The conference I was attending started at 8:30 which meant either to arrive late or skip the breakfast.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Villa Zaccardi during our trip to Rome, and we couldn’t be more satisfied with the experience. The room was exceptionally clean, well-maintained, and provided everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The accommodation was very convenient, making it easy for us to explore the city while also enjoying a quiet and relaxing atmosphere upon our return. The staff were truly outstanding—professional, attentive, and always welcoming. Their friendliness and willingness to assist made our stay even more enjoyable.
We were also impressed with the breakfast, which offered a great variety of options and was of excellent quality—perfect to start the day.
Overall, we are very pleased with both the service and the overall experience at Villa Zaccardi. We will definitely recommend this hotel to others and look forward to staying here again on our next visit to Rome.

This is not a 4 star hotel… at least not a standard 4 star hotel
The entrance and lobby are poor and also to get to the rooms you go through a passage with weird curtains may be in renovation but not nice to see
