The breakfast was excellent - especially the mini croissants and pains au chocolat. Eva at Reception was friendly and helpful in terms of securing us a reservation at an excellent restaurant in the Piazza del Popolo. The Liberty style decor as well as the garden seating to the side of the hotel could not have been more beautiful. Although a bit distant from some of the major attractions, this hotel offered a welcome sanctuary from the hustle and bustle of Rome.

The hotel itself is nice, and the staff were courteous with decent service. Still, for a place tied to the Fendi family, it felt disappointingly ordinary—I expected a touch more luxury and refinement.
It felt very much like a bait and switch. We were placed in the garden area or “garden house“, a section entirely detached from the main hotel, and the experience fell far short of what one would expect from the Fendi brand. The accommodations bore more resemblance to staff quarters than to the refined luxury typically associated with Fendi—weathered, outdated, and in clear need of substantial renovation. For those seeking a true Fendi experience, I strongly recommend confirming that your reservation is within the main hotel building, as the garden rooms do not reflect the brand’s signature standard of elegance or sophistication.

Breakfast was in a beautiful room, everything was fresh and of high quality. Staff were warm and attentive. We loved the attention to detail, the design, the gardens! I’m looking forward to coming back!
The location was great for me as I like to stay in residential areas but a bit far from the major tourist sites.

The breakfast was excellent. The location was good - close to the city center and the Vatican, yet not too touristy, the street fairy busy, but our second (European) floor windows were overlooking treetops and with windows closed it was fairly quiet.
Breakfast starts at 7:30 and since we had to leave for the airport at 6, we missed out on it. In other hotels under similar circumstances we'd get a "to go" (sandwich, pastry).

Location in quiet upscale neighborhood away from heavy tourist area. Attractive gracious public rooms and lovely delicious breakfast in dining room. Quirky but appealing bedroom decor with nice bathroom in a quiet room. Very pleasant helpful professional staff. Felt like stepping back in time to a grand old Villa.
Uncomfortable seating in our small room. Bed was comfortable but not luxuriously so.

the interiors are beautiful.
air conditioning didn't work, room was constantly 26 degrees (in early Autumn)when 28 degrees outside. staff said it was fixed but never was. Hot water didn't work for 2 days because something was wrong with the boiler. bed was terribly hard. They moved us to a room with a working air conditioner for our last night. the bed in the new room was lovely and comfortable, dare I say 'normal'. staff at reception were good, but better to be honest and say something cannot be fixed until x date, rather than say its been fixed when it has not.
