We had a terrific stay and Marko is the perfect host. He is delightful. The location was perfect for our stay in Rome. The b and b is located in a quiet, non touristy area near the Circus Maximus (5 minute walk). I recommend it.

Marco was an exceptional host and was very helpful with information about Rome as it was our first visit. The breakfast choices were excellent.... especially Easter Sunday when he prepared special traditional Italian cuisine. The location was in a lovely quiet part of Rome but walking distance to public transportation and restaurants. Would recommend to anyone who prefers to be away from the hussle of noise and crowds of people.
Nothing to dislike for the 4 nights we stayed.

It is a wonderful introduction to Rome. It was my first trip to Rome and Marco made it welcoming and special! The tasty breakfasts prepared by him were different every day. All travelers shared the breakfast table and conversations were interesting. A lot of fun! Marco had many stories and tips about what to do and see. Wonderful neighborhood and close to Circo Massimo Metro station. Several restaurants nearby and a delicious gelateria! I miss it already!

The neighborhood is very pretty, it's more of a residential area i.e: restaurants, shopping are not so common however Marco did an excellent job putting a map together for the guests to go see and experience things that are out of the beaten path. He was an excellent host, gave us a lot of insight and we strongly recommend staying there!

Marco is such a kind and thoughtful host. The accommodation is incredibly clean and cared for with love. I would be truly happy to stay there again whenever I return to Rome. You can really feel the heart he puts into everything he does.

Location is perfect, a short 12 min walk to the Colosseum and surrounding ruins while going past the Circus Maximus. Great hospitality and very helpful with directions and which metro station to use to save walking.

The host Marco was amazing! Cooked us a great breakfast every morning, provided us guidance and map on where to go and places to see, provided detailed recommendations on local places to eat (even helped to make a booking for us as the original place he recommended was fully booked). Able to be easily contacted at any time.
The place itself was cleaned well daily, bed was large and comfortable. Location was very close to the Colosseum but bit far from Vatican City (although still walkable)

Everything was beyond my expectations. Firstly, the owner himself cooks breakfast for you every morning, giving you the feeling that you are not in an anonymous hotel but in your relatives' house in Italy (that you love them). Moreover, the owner was a former tourist guide, speaks fluent English, and he can give you many quality options for everything in Rome (food, transportation, locations, etc). He is really helpful.
As for the room, it was super clean, not even a hint of dust! There is free wifi, a/c, heaters, and TV with Netflix and other applications. The location is in a very good neighborhood of Rome where you do not meet strange people or loud noises. Furthermore, it is really close to Colosseum (13m walk), the ancient arena "Circo Massimo" and the homonymous metro and bus station (4m walk), which connect you to every place in Rome. Not to mention that it was not even expensive room.
All those combined were something that made my stay in Rome an unforgettable experience. I suggest Vecchia Roma Resort to anyone who is searching for the best value for money accommodation in Rome.
There was nothing really negative about it. In my opinion, it should not even exist in this resort.

Marco and Luca made my trip much more wonderful ?. They both were so accommodating, the sweetest. I learned alot from them both, if I had questions they didn't hesitate to answer. The key system is so unique, I loved it so much. The building had character. It's near the center of Rome. 30 min walk to the colosseo, trevi fountain, Spanish steps, and food. The room was a great size for just me. The bed was like a cloud, everything was clean..oh the mini bar in the provided fridge was a lifesaver and very reasonably priced. I plan to visit Rome again with my family and here is where we will be staying I want no where else. ALSO Marco makes a wonderful breakfast and he goes out his way to remember what the guests prefer (I silently noticed the care he had with this). I can't rave enough about Marco...I've made a friend and I was sad to go, but I will be back.
