We had a fantastic stay at Thebestinrome Piazza di Spagna. On the morning before flying to Rome, Daniel texted to ask for our arrival time and answered a few of our questions. When we messaged him from the airport with our ETA, he arrived on his scooter to greet us, show us around the apartment, and hand over the keys — such a warm and welcoming start to our trip. The location is absolutely unbeatable, right beside the Spanish Steps. Being so central made it incredibly easy to explore the city on foot. Taxi rank located right outside the door (which was really handy for our early airport return). The apartment itself was spotless, clean and very comfortable. The beds and pillows were divine after a day of exploring! We especially loved that each bedroom had its own en suite bathroom, which made travelling as a group so much more convenient. Another unexpected bonus was having McDonald’s right next door — we arrived late when all restaurants were closed, so it was great to be able to grab food easily when we were all tired and hungry after travelling!!!
If we were being picky, the apartment could perhaps do with a fresh coat of paint, but that’s a very minor detail. Overall, it was perfect and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. Highly recommended!

Easy to get into the apartment - location was so perfect.
The ac in the front apartment was not working therefore the unit was very warm, and in June the heat was intense.

The apartment is really well located and of great proportions. The communication was excellent and staff very responsive. The apartment itself however is tired - it needs redecorating as the paintwork is dirty. The fixtures and fittings need updating. From the photos and for the price we had expected a luxury stay but the shower heads are clogged up and water spills out over the top, the kitchen tap swivels the whole way round when you turn it on, the toilet roll holders are loose etc. It just needs maintenance.
If you are sensitive to noise, it is noisy throughout the night in the front and back bedroom. We had a lovely stay in Rome regardless but wouldn’t return here.

The place was lovely. Unfortunately there is some sort of bottle/glass recycling place behind the flats. They were smashing glass starting at 3am and going on all night. It was impossible to sleep even with ear plugs. So for this reason I wouldn’t stay here again

The location is great and close to everything, Really enjoyed the facilities and in a very vibrant area
It’s top floor and the lift can’t accommodate many people at once so it can take a few trips for more than a group of 5 to get up. Also a staff member started to knock on our door at 6AM which woke us all up for check out which is unappreciated and unprofessional so I’d make sure that you tell them you don’t want anyone knocking in early hours or annoying you

The location and the apartment cleanliness was great. The rooms were very comfortable and it was very nice of the hosts to welcome us with the basic essentials like, water, tea and coffee and some goodies.
I wish the heating was put on a bit earlier as it was rather cold when we arrived. Also due to our afternoon flight we were charged for late check-in which I thought was rather uncalled for. Unfortunately, the back room tenants were woken up rather early due to works that were taking place on the back.

For a group of 5 women it was perfect. Four bathrooms. Two living rooms. Lots of room. Location is amazing. Taxi station right outside the front door. A few steps from Piazza di Spagna.
Lots of construction noise heard from one bedroom really early in the morning. Lobby door lock was sometimes difficult. Lobby from street door to elevator needs a lot of clean up and beautification.

The location is perfect. The apartment is well appointed with excellent showers and comfortable beds. Wifi worked well. Air conditioning was great and Rome was hot while we were there.!
The only downside pertained to one bedroom in the back on an enclosed courtyard. For some reason every morning except Sunday, starting at 6:00-6:30 AM, someone in another building made enough noise that sounded like they might be tearing down the building. The noise stopped after about an hour and was not heard the rest of the day. Very odd. It happened 3 of the 4 mornings we were there. When in Rome it could happen anywhere I suppose.

Great location and nice showers/baths with plenty of hot water. TV's in every room.
Instructions for the washing machine/dryer combo in English would have been helpful. There was a surprising cold snap on the last night of 31 degrees and the heating system on one side of the apartment hadn't been set-up to come on automatically. The rental company attempted to provide instructions via texts to correct it, but it didn't work. Fortunately, we found two electric heathers we could put in the rooms that were so cold and we had one extra blanket. A couple of extra blankets would have been great too.
