When we arrived we were allocated a room which was dirty, dark and very unwelcoming with overflowing refuse bins in the corridor leading to the room. There was a spare bed in the room which had a dirty cover on it and the shower drain was blocked. It also did not look like any of the rooms shown in the pictures with only an internal window allowing no light into the room. That said, following a complaint to the manager, we were moved to another room across the street without fuss which met our expectations and was beautifully clean. Had we not been moved, we would have requested a refund and rebooked elsewhere.

Lovely little hotel in the heart of Roma. Great staff, wonderful room, comfy bed, steps from everything. Highly recommend and good value for location.
It's a little loud but that's what earplugs are for. Soundproof windows did a nice job but there is some noise.

Lovely location (I stayed in the building in front of the actual hotel, where they have more rooms), you can walk anywhere. You got a supermarket next door and one of the best bakeries in the area. Great and super friendly staff! Good daily cleaning!
The room I was staying at had a lot of mould in the bathroom (especially in the lower part of the shower head and the shower walls). It is an old building, so they should definitely invest a bit in getting rid of the mould inside, as it is not only aesthetically unpleasant but also very unhealthy. There was also a leak (maybe from the toilet cistern) that was making one corner of the toilet wet.

Staff were amazing. Veronica and the man whose name I can't remember who greeted us were amazing helpful and friendly. All staff went out of their way to help and was extremely friendly. Position of hotel was prefect. Comfy beds, sheets were immaculately clean. Adjoining rooms worked perfectly for our family of five. Would definitely return if visiting Rome again.
