No one is at the reception when we arrived , we waited long and up to our check out ., again no one is in the reception area. We wanted to be early so as not to miss the flight..but the personnel that must be at the hotel reception is always missing!

Stylish design focused hotel. Well located.
I was surprised to find that the desk wasn’t staffed 24 hours but luckily arrived and departed when it was. Also, it was a bit noisy as our room was located just above Harry’s Bar.

Exceptional staff, helpful and engaging. Hotel is elegant and sophisticated, rooms beautifully appointed. We arrived earlier than check-in and, while there is no lobby in which to wait, we were able to leave our luggage at the welcome desk and go for lunch at a nearby restaurants. There are ample walking opportunities in the park a block away. This was our first stay at this hotel but will not be our last. Highly recommend.

Breakfast was so so. Location near the Pincian Gate on the Via Venato was good.
No hot breakfast items as expected for a boutique hotel.

We really appreciate The Shire Hotel transferring us to an amazing nearby hotel due to an A/C issue they had right before we arrived. We were welcomed by The Shire staff and escorted to the new hotel. We felt taken care of and that is what mattered most in those moments after travelling long distances to reach Rome.

Nothing was good about this place. Air Conditioning did not work. Located in old gross building with lots of busy road noise.

Great location.
I was given a handicap bathroom and wasn’t a fan of the shower. Water all over. Had to use many towels to clean up.

Property was clean and in a great location.
Staff was very friendly and helpful. Loved the balcony room overlooking the city. They helped us get into our room early after a long red eye flight and early arrival
Would have been cool to have earlier breakfast, as we were busy with activities most days. But I don’t really think that’s a complaint, just our schedule.

The location of the hotel was perfect—about 15 minute walk from the Trevi and most attractions. The staff were great! Very helpful and informative.
There were some minor issues with the Air Conditioning but the staff handled it.

Location was perfect, away from tourist crowd.Lots of restaurant around.Welcome wine and fruit plate was fantastic. Both room and bathroom was large and clean.Ladies at the reception was very helpful
Breakfast was not very rich but sufficient. Since the hotel is at first floor, the street noise was in the room,luckily the street was not too busy
