It was very comfortable and in an excellent location. The best part of all, however, is how helpful and accommodating that Salvatore was! It is nice to get guidance and assistance from a local. It was extremely helpful. He is very responsive, so you know you will have help if you need it.

We had a fantastic stay at this apartment - we can't say enough great things about it! It was super clean. The two bedrooms are spacious and comfortable, with cozy beds and plenty of bright lighting. The kitchen had everything we needed and the entrance room (also very well lit) was perfect, with a table for working or dining, as well as a comfy sofa to unwind on. It is also located on a small street which is quiet, yet only a few minutes from the metro and 10 minutes from the train station. There are restaurants and a supermarket nearby. The street its on, and the apartment itself feel safe and secure. And as a bonus, the Italian restaurant down the street (La Forchetta d'Oro) which is just 20 meters away is a lovely option for dinner. The host, Salvatore, was incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to help us with anything we needed. He met us at the apartment, provided us with some excellent recommendations for things to do, see, and eat in Rome, which really enhanced our experience. He was also great before and during our visit communicating via WhatsApp. All in all, we highly recommend this apartment - it's an wonderful choice for a family or couple looking for a comfortable and convenient home away from home.

Salvatores communication was excellent, so much great information. The apartment was warm and cosy, great location 10 - 15 minute walk from Roma termini. Walking distance to the Colosseum and surrounding ancient ruin sites. The metro station was close for Trevi fountain, Pantheon and Vatican.
Only one minor complaint, no microwave oven. This would have been handy.

Fantastic location, great host, comfortable beds, quiet during the night. The common area is fairly small but the bedrooms are spacious. Has everything you need. Would definetly stay again :)

We had a great stay at The Avalon! The location was great, the apartment cool and clean, the beds comfortable. Salvatore and Katherine were excellent hosts with lots of personal service and advice. A little tip: On the same street is a cute Trattoria (La Forchetta), where we had a lovely late dinner with quick service, good food and free dessert.
