Poor
I had been looking forward to my trip to Rome for so long, but my stay at this property left me feeling incredibly sad and shocked.
Admittedly, in terms of Nearby activities and Walkability, the location is absolutely perfect. You can easily walk to major sightseeing spots, which is likely why this place has such a high rating of "8.6" on Booking.com. If absolutely nothing goes wrong, it could be a convenient base for your trip.
However, the "Rooms"and building conditions were a completely different story. During my single-night stay, I experienced three unbelievable and major infrastructure issues all at once. First, the bathroom door got locked and wouldn't open, forcing me to use all my strength to pry it open myself, to the point where it felt like it was going to break. Furthermore, when the toilet stopped flushing, instead of showing any care or concern, the owner sent a series of condescending messages questioning if it was my fault—asking if I dropped something other than toilet paper or if I even pushed the button properly. This made me feel absolutely miserable and frustrated during my trip. To top it all off, there was no hot water from last night until the next morning, meaning I couldn't even take a proper shower.
As an "Important note" for future travelers: this might be general trend across Italy, but these kinds of hostels are often in old buildings, making them highly prone to room defects. More importantly, you cannot count on the manager to come and fix things immediately.
Given the management's total lack f problem-solving ability and insincerity hen issues arose, the current review score of "8.6" is way too high. I can confidentlsay it is completely overrated. It truly ruined what should have been wonderful travel memories, and I am deeply disappointed. I will never stay here again.

Pleasant
Amazing location, everything is easily accessible.
Polite staff.
Cleanliness
Noise from the street.
Uncomfortable bed.
On the last night, there was an incident where someone tried to enter my apartment. I don’t know who it was, but it was a very unpleasant experience

Wonderful
We loved a ton - the location is a bonus, the cleanliness, the old era feel of the home with the books, the art, the displays, it was a cozy home, especially in the mid day Roman heat. The earplugs were a nice touch, we actually slept soundly and woke up to stunning sunrises. The elevator was a life saver after walking 30k steps a day. We will love to stay here again. The breakfast at Bar Campidoglio downstairs gave us a Roman banco breakfast experience.
Just a few improvements, we were informed that tap water was not drinkable/potable, we would have appreciated drinking water atleast on arrival to be made available in the room. Although we easily procured it from the shops downstairs. The coffee maker in the room was really dirty. We missed having the option for a mid day cuppa in our room or hot drinking water in the morning on waking up.

Perfect location! Responsive host and staff.

Wonderful
The location is superb: everything is accessible on foot.
The breakfast was the weakest point: sandwiches/croissants were very bad, while the coffee and fruit salad were acceptable.

You can’t get a better location. Very comfortable and everything we needed for a fabulous weekend with my family.
Nothing not to like, we had a great time.

Very Good
Location, location, location! So close to everything.
Property was roomy and light with a somewhat bohemian vibe.
Daily refresh on towels, toilet paper and light tidy
Breakfast at the restaurant next door was excellent with friendly service.
Very noisy. Continuous sirens from the street. You definitely want your earbuds here.
Could use a place near the door to hang coats and also a small microwave.

Very Good
The location was the main thing about this apartment, 10 minutes to walk to most of the tourist attractions in Rome. The breakfast was served at the bar next door, ordinary breakfast (toast, coffee, juice and fruit). Large rooms. Good value for money.
Noise from the traffic, but with closed windows we were able to sleep nice.
