St. Peter’s Guesthouse was the perfect place for my stay in Rome. The main reason for my trip was visiting the Vatican and St. Peter’s Basilica, and the location could not have been better — everything is within walking distance. The area is very central, with plenty of shops, restaurants, bars, supermarkets, and a pharmacy nearby. The Metro station is just a few steps away, making it extremely convenient to get around the city quickly.
Although the neighborhood can be lively during the day and early evening, it quiets down once the shops close around 8 PM. With the windows closed, you can’t hear outside noise at all. There are also restaurants open late at night, which is great if you’ve had a long day or get hungry late.
The guesthouse has a shared, fully equipped kitchen for guests, which I absolutely loved. You can make espresso, tea, and even fresh orange juice any time of day. Fresh oranges are provided, so you don’t need to buy your own — a very thoughtful touch.
This is an Airbnb-style apartment with four rooms, and my room was perfect for a solo traveler. I had a single room with a queen bed and private bathroom. Even with a large suitcase, the space was comfortable and sufficient. The apartment is well maintained and serviced daily by staff.
What I appreciated the most was the kindness and flexibility of the owner. When my flight was unexpectedly canceled with no immediate alternative, she allowed me to extend my stay for a few more days without any issues. She was extremely understanding and accommodating, which made a stressful situation much easier.
I would absolutely recommend St. Peter’s Guesthouse, especially for solo travelers or anyone visiting the Vatican area. I would gladly stay here again.
Nothing major. The WiFi could be improved slightly, and the TV seemed to be set up mainly for streaming services rather than local channels- or I may not have figured it out during my stay. I did have my iPad with me so I was able to stream you tube and search the web.

Location is perfect,100 meters from metro station,Vatican is 5minutes walkway . Staff were very helpful.
Need some hooks on walls and hotel slippers,after all day walking around the wonderful Rome it’s necessary for guests.

It’s very well located, literally 50m from the metro and within walking distance of Vatican. Also, there is a small kitchen with coffee and tea available + fresh orange juice to make ourselves. Really clean as well

Payment only cash, without any proof of payment. I have repetedly request for invoice but I did not received. It was a business trip and I got in trouble because of it.
I asked help from booking, but I did not receive from them either

The staff was nice. The location was good. The room was cosy.
The Internet is slow and very unreliable. The bathroom needs an upgrade or deep cleaning. There was not much pressure in the shower head until we cleared it.
