The location was great and the staff were really nice
My air conditioning was really loud and prevented me from sleeping even when wearing ear plugs. When I shut it off the room got too hot. The description said it was soundproof and it definitely was not at all- I could hear peoples’ conversations in the breakfast room through the wall and everyone walking down the hall talking. The view from the balcony was supposed to be the courtyard but it was just the back of buildings and industrial looking with no courtyard to speak of. Also, the breakfast was very poor for the price I paid for my stay. The only good part was the location and the staff were very friendly. I would like some of my stay refunded.

The room was stunning and cosy. It had a gorgeous wide and tall window to let light in, the decoration was stylish and well thought out. I would also point out it had the most stunning antique armoire, which was both practical and uniquely beautiful. The air conditioning worked really well as well, which helped with the heat outside. Considering the location in the centre of Rome, the room was very spacious. The staff came and cleaned every day, sometimes more than once without ever disturbing me while I was there. They were also super nice, smiley and helpful with things like finding a place to eat, sitting outside for breakfast, using the lift, and storing my luggage after my stay. The balcony where I could eat breakfast and hang out during the day was also very peaceful and nice for a space so centrally located. The elevator was also very interesting on the inside and decorated on the inside and fun to use if you enjoy exploring old city buildings on the inside.

The location is really the best! Hearty, normal breakfast. I knew the building was old, but it was fine for a few nights, it was very comfortable
At first it was difficult to get into the building as the electronic keys didn't work, but they were in test mode so they should get better over time.

The staff were always welcoming, unfailingly cheerful, very helpful and a real asset to the hotel but never intrusive. It's location is excellent. Breakfast on the terrace was a delight. The location is ideal for so many of the sites.
Breakfast buffet needed more frequent replenishment, to cope with demand. There was always something to eat but the choice became limited after 0815.

The apartment is set in a historic Roman building, and every detail—from the parquet floors to the doors, walls, and even the scent—creates an authentic atmosphere that is hard to find elsewhere. The property’s ambiance is truly special. The breakfast was well balanced, delicious, and a wonderful way to start the day.
I had some trouble during check-in, but Alexandra from another BZAR property stepped in and handled everything professionally. Sarah, who prepared coffee during breakfast each morning, was incredibly warm and always happy to have a friendly chat. Thanks to both of them, I completely forgot about the initial mishap. Their kindness and genuine hospitality made my stay much more enjoyable.

This was my third stay at Solotto Monti and once again it was truely memorable. Attentive staff, lovely breakfast, beautiful rooftop terrace, excellent location and comfortable bed.
If there’s anything I would change it is the night stand lights in the room as they were too bright and not cosy enough. But that really isn’t a complaint but more of a suggestion.

Location is great - local facilities nearby and walking distance to the Roman Forum area. Breakfast was fine. Bed comfortable and room very clean. Shower was a good size.

Very Good
Staff were friendly and incredibly helpful. The beds were comfortable and the shower was good. Everything was very clean. The location was ideal for sightseeing around Monti and the terrace was a lovely spot for breakfast.
The setup in the building was unusual but we quickly got used to it. The noise from other guests doors could be somewhat disruptive through the night.
