When I booked the Roma Luxus, I must admit that the pictures on Booking.com didn’t do it justice. When my wife and I got there, to our surprise, we got upgraded with no extra cost and the staff was incredibly kind. I’m so used to rude American standards and average desire to go above and beyond. But the staff here gave us so much information on everything we needed about Rome. When we got to our room, the view from the massive swing windows were phenomenal. The dinner was a bit pricey. But the complimentary breakfast way made up for it. Wonderful breakfast! If we come back to Rome, there’s no doubt we would stay at this property again.

The building is beautiful and the rooms were clean and comfortable. We had a great view of the rooftops of Rome as well. The staff was very attentive and engaging, and the breakfast was wonderful.
Our air conditioning unit made a very annoying noise and even though the maintenance staff tried to fix it twice, it never stopped making the noise.

I really like the bathroom- very clean, new, Acqua de Parma toiletries. The room itself is pretty simple but the aircon is cold which is great. The breakfast at the courtyard was very good. The sausage and scrambled eggs were delicious and though it was not a wide spread, the choices were good enough.
The corridor leading to the room is too dark. The atmosphere is not relaxing. Once you get into the room it’s ok though.

It was just okay but it was clean
I couldn't adjust the a/c. The photos online showed a very spacious room with tall ceilings, canopy bed, large windows, and natural light. I ended up with a room that appeared to be a converted loft, it had an angled ceiling with two tiny windows - VERY limited natural light and no view. the bathroom and room was much smaller than the depicted photos. Furthermore, there was no closet, there was a cupboard that was barley the length of a men's T-shit that was 'a full closet' according to hotel staff. Also, the spa is not a spa it's a tiny jacuzzi in a room behind the front desk. Some hotel staff was very helpful others pretended to have bad English and refused to help me. The listing online is not an accurate depiction of this hotel. I was very angry. I was not the third guest to make the same complaints.

Location, cleanness and staff were very good. Rome's main attractions are on a 10-15 mins walking distance. next to the hotel there are many good restaurants (including non-touristic ones.) The staff was very welcoming and helpfull.
Breakfast was unexpectedly very poor in choice and quality. I have stayed in many 5 star hotels and probably the breakfast option here was the most modest one. Although, the staff at the kitchen (which was understaffed) was trying their best.

A truly beautiful hotel — well-deserved 5 stars! We were pleasantly surprised with a room upgrade, and the room itself was a perfect blend of classic and modern design — absolutely stunning. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, and the staff were all incredibly friendly. Breakfast was delicious, and the location was perfect for exploring the hotspots in beautiful Rome. We would definitely return!

I have stayed at Roma Luxus several times, and it's my favorite hotel in Rome. The care and attention of the staff is excellent, the facilities are beautiful, well appointed, cozy yet elegant. The neighborhood around the hotel is a marvelous representation of Rome and it is within walking distance to many attractions.
There isn't anything I did not like.
