Location was perfect! Breakfast was at a restaurant a few steps away and it was so good! Relaxing space right in the center of Rome! Make sure you go to the terrace!

The location was the best. It was a short walk to most attractions. Food options were great with several small markets to get drinks, snack etc.
I’m mean a small nit pick was it had a shared kitchen where the coffee makers were. We are early birds and was worried we would wake others making our morning coffee. An in-room coffeemaker would be nice.

It was very interesting to enjoy a delicious breakfast offsite at a nearby restaurant; the rooftop deck was magnificent; easy entry after hours through a lockbox; spectacular location overlooking the ruins of the Roman Forum
The walk from the rail station was a little longer than expected, but very scenic and past wonderful city resources (groceries, gelato, wine)

Property was clean and comfortable. It had an amazing terrace with awesome views!! Staff were very helpful. Great location with short walk to public transportation. Very walkable location. Great breakfast. We would definitely stay here again.

Everyone was really nice and welcoming, which made me feel safe and at ease as a woman traveling alone. Their communication was excellent from start to finish, and they even helped arrange my airport shuttle. The place was spotless,cleaned every day,and easy to find. They also gave me great recommendations for sightseeing and restaurants, which made exploring Rome much easier. The rooftop view was beautiful, and the whole atmosphere felt vibrant and unique.

Location and the large room, beautiful view from the roof top! buy your own beer at the convention store around the corner and enjoy it on the roof top ? restaurants near by, 8 mins walk to Colosseum, 4 mins to piazza Venezia, temple ruins in front of the place, a walking distance to Trevi fountain, pantheon, and stores to shop, and a lot more!

Gianlucca is a wonderful host- extremely helpful. I developed an eye infection and he arranged for me to go to the only eye clinic open on a national holiday. He called the taxi for us and was very compassionate. He also arranged our taxi to the train station when we left Rome. The location of his guesthouse is perfect for walking anywhere in central Rome. Also so happy for the elevator to take our luggage up to our room vs carrying up the stairs!
Nothing really- the guesthouse is very old, so don’t expect modern hotel amenities.

This is a great place to stay especially if you want to be within walking distance of all the major sites and monuments. The staff is very responsive and helpful and offer great suggestions for sightseeing and restaurant options. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Rome.

First of all, the staff was amazing. They helped with everything and were super informative. I absolutely loved the rooftop which I did not know came with our reservation. It was a quiet place I could retreat to every night that looked out over the city with faint noise from street performers while I read before bed. The rooms had names and I stayed in Elena. Elena had subtle hints of ancient times with tasteful room decorations and plenty of storage. One wardrobe with drawers and another with shelves and both with plenty of room for hanging clothes as well. The breakfast was in a restaurant around the block with the option of an Italian breakfast or more of an American breakfast.
How small the elevator was. It’s a 2-person elevator which was smaller than my brain liked

Such a friendly family that owns and runs the property, and that’s felt by all who stay there. Central but quiet, and a lovely rooftop terrace for starting the day or relaxing after.

From the onset Barbara was so welcoming, friendly and hospitable. Nothing was too difficult and no question went unanswered. She's such a bubbly, happy personality!
Honestly - there was nothing we didn't like.. The accommodation was beautiful, clean and serviced daily. It was so central to most of the historic ruins and getting to n fro was easy.

This was a fantastic place to stay. The location is superb with ~15 min walk to Colosseum and ~10 min walk to the Cavour metro. The view from the roof terrace is amazing. The breakfast in a restaurant nearby was great. This was arranged by the host and included, and only 2 min walk. Nice, clean, nice smelling room with unique furniture.
