The hosts are *wonderful*!!! So warm, generous, and kind, and made our landing in Rome a breeze. We deeply appreciated being able to access our rooms early, and were set up in every way to head out and enjoy our first day. Location was amazing - we walked to everything, but it's literally steps from the Pantheon and other ruins are literally across the street and just outside your window. I'd stay again without question.
I wasn't able to figure out the heat, but am positive the hosts would have helped me if I had asked. I was too tired to care much and went to sleep just fine.

Great view of a piece of Rome history out of your room window. Was interesting watching the crazy traffic out the window.

Very clean and comfortable, breakfast is self serve with an excellent selection. Room is spacious, comfortable bed, great view of ruins across the street. Ursula and her son Lorenzo were wonderful and gracious hosts.
Nothing was wrong with the property. Although, elevator is 2 person max, so if you’re very large it could be a tight squeeze.

Room was beautiful and large. Ursula was a wonderful hostess, very helpful and thoughtful. Location was great with a taxi stand right across the street. I would highly recommend Gens Julia to anyone staying in Rome!

Everything about Residenza Gens Julia was amazing! Urszula and her sons were the sweetest and so helpful and welcoming. The location is fantastic, the views were awesome, and it was spotlessly clean. They had a welcome bottle of wine and snacks for us and a parting gift- they made you feel like returning friends. Highly recommend and will definitely stay here again!

Ursula and David were very engaging, helpful, and fun. Location and View were outstanding. Walking distance to all the major Central Rome historical sites. Totally relaxed environment at the residence. Rooms very clean, comfortable, and good sized for an inner city room. Big bathroom. Lots of options for breakfast….Ursula & David made a special trip to pick up gluten-free items for me.

We had a beautifully decorated room that was very spacious. The ensuite bathroom was large and modern.
The facility was quiet and we had privacy. The living room and kitchen areas were convenient. Every morning a freshly baked coffee cake and other pastries as well as fresh fruit were available. In addition a refrigerator full of juice, water, etc was offered. Coffee and tea were also available. An excellent value and great location. Plus the best pizza shop was next door.
We liked it all.

The host Ursula was terrific, made you feel at home. She is very gracious and caring. Location is very good, there is a taxi stand on the other side of the roman ruins which are in front of the building.
Breakfast has offering of fruits, cereals, breads, cheese, hams and a way of making hard boiled eggs. A good selection but limited.

It was an amazing experience! Everyone was so friendly and helpful, going above and beyond with recommendations, and laundry service. There were fresh flowers in the room every day, and a large breakfast selection on the common room. The location overlooks some ruins, with a cat sanctuary! Will definitely stay there again!
