The location to the Vatican City was great. It’s also located just down the road from a metro entrance. There are many restaurants and shops near by. It feels less touristy and very comfortable. The rooms were beautiful and the staff were so kind. You could have your room cleaned everyday if you chose to and they had a water machine in the hall where it was convenient to get cold water. We would stay here again if we return to Rome.

Great location - just 7 minutes from the metro and about 8 minutes’ walk to the Vatican!
The room was cozy and clean, with a nice authentic feel. The host was very friendly and helpful, which made the stay even better.

Staff is very welcoming and residential bldg quiet. Easy self-checkin, Edoardo quick on replying. Metro and buses just round the corner.
Nice large room but no sofa, so no place to sit down.

The room was comfortable, clean and well maintained and organized, plenty of room for travelers luggage. Bathroom was nice and modernized. Some amenities in the main lobby, the location was convenient since it’s close to the Vatican City and metro stations to go anywhere in Rome. Also, we had a great support from Federica, she was devoted to keep everything working out. Extremely kind and helpful all the way through our stay.
The step in the bedroom to do to the bathroom, for us was a little unsafe, specially when you are not used to it at night .

Great modern apartment with all amenities. Perfect location—steps from the metro and walking distance to the Vatican.
The rooms aren’t well sound-isolated—you can hear footsteps and the main door closing.

The property was spacious enough for unpacking 2 suitcases without taking up the whole room.
It was reasonably clean and well looked after, in a nice and peaceful neighborhood, very close to the Vatican.
We had 24x7 access to a coffee machine and water from the reception, for FREE, which is a luxury in Rome.
Best of all, the staff were super easy to deal with. We had a very late check-in due to our flights and the reception was unattended when we got there, but Eduardo sent us all the instructions needed to access our accommodation. Also, Federica was really easy to deal with and very polite, and gave us some very good recommendations for local coffee shops and restaurants so we can avoid tourist traps (which is hard in a city like Rome).
The shower is a bit old and dated, with the shower head leaking, but it’s nothing major.

Absolutely a gem to find a short walking distance to the Vatican. The service was outstanding and the amenities were thoughtful and welcoming. The free to use espresso machine was great in the morning and for an afternoon pick me up. Details to arrive and how to get to the rooms were throughly explained. Restaurants in the area were plentiful and close to a market and pharmacy. Would highly recommend staying at Residenza Edoardo I to make your Rome vacation a complete success.
I can't make a single complaint. It was wonderful!

The room was very clean and also comfortable to come back to after a long day of walking around in Rome. The shower, airconditioning, good coffee and water were a great plus. The staff was super friendly. Maybe adding a chair in the room would be nice. It was very helpful that they responded very quick if we had any questions. They also contact us when we arrived at the airport to advice us which route to take to come to the hotel.

We couldn’t wish for more. Communication with the host was excellent - we could even check in slightly before. The room was very clean and spacious just perfect for an extended weekend. Cleaning service was provided daily - on demand.
The location of the appartment is perfect to reach all the major sites, both walking or with metro. We loved our long walks which allowed us to explore the city the most.
The neighbourhood is full of bars, grocery shops, restaurants, which is very convenient.
At night when the window was open it was a bit noisy at times (could be from the aircon of the neighbour), but it didn’t bother is too much.

Fabulous!
This was a special find in Rome!!!
Nicely located close to Vatican, many eating establishments, neighborhood clean and safe.
We especially loved the apartment and the hospitality provided by Federica. We could not have asked for a nicer stay!
Oh yes, the air conditioner was wonderful in the Rome heatwave...
