We had a fantastic stay at Palazzo Ripetta in Rome. From the moment we arrived early in the morning after a long flight, the team went above and beyond to accommodate us with an early check-in, which made a huge difference and set the tone for the entire stay. The hotel itself is outstanding — the rooms are beautifully designed, spacious, and extremely comfortable. Everything feels well thought out and maintained to a very high standard. The breakfast was excellent, with a wide selection of fresh, high-quality options that made each morning a pleasure. The location is perfect — centrally located yet quiet, making it easy to explore Rome while still enjoying a peaceful environment. A special thank you to Pankaj, who was incredibly kind, professional, and helpful throughout our stay. His assistance with the early check-in and his overall attitude truly elevated our experience. Highly recommended — we would absolutely stay here again.

Our stay at this hotel had some positive aspects, but overall it did not meet the expectations one would reasonably have for a 5-star property. The most noticeable shortcoming was the breakfast. The buffet selection was quite limited and lacked variety – in particular, there were no fresh vegetables or spreads available. Additionally, items such as pancakes and egg dishes came at an extra charge, despite breakfast already being included. In our experience, even hotels with fewer stars often offer a significantly more comprehensive and inclusive breakfast. We were also surprised by the policy of pre-authorizing €100 per night on our credit card for potential in-hotel expenses. For a 5-star hotel, this felt excessive and somewhat inconsistent with the level of trust and service one would expect, especially considering that our stay had already been fully prepaid. Another concern was that our passports were scanned during check-in. To our understanding, this practice raises questions regarding compliance with GDPR regulations, and it did not leave a comfortable impression. Service-wise, there was also room for improvement. During our stay, I suffered from severe food poisoning. While the staff offered to call an ambulance, there was no further assistance. We had to arrange a taxi ourselves to get to a pharmacy and obtain medication. In a hotel of this category, we would have expected a more proactive and supportive approach, such as assistance in sourcing necessary medication. Overall, while the hotel has potential, it is not yet at the level of service, attention to detail, and guest care that distinguishes truly outstanding 5-star hotels. There is clear room for improvement.

Low options at breakfast. A lot of sweets but no fresh vegetables, no prosciutto nor cheese. I had to order separately cheese, they were kind to give me, but i had to ask..

Amazing location and stunning decor. Staff were amazing - notably Saskia on the front desk who could not have been more helpful. We were given a gorgeous room with stunning bathroom . We didn't try the breakfast but looked delicious and the bar was great !

Fabulous panatone in room when arriving....home made....and 2nd night.... Stupendous restaurant in hotel v.complex subtle high standard....we love it and are used to eating 1 or 2 star michelin in london often Very quiet room
No Panatone on 3rd night awaiting us in room...no fruit in room....too often the SAME little delicious chocolates but no variation...when coming when leaving and on pillow at night....always same and never dark chocolate pralines,for example....or a bisquit etc... no real tea(bags) in room only infusions....one does not want to phone for everything so we bring our own but still....
