The courtyard
The drains in the sinks don’t drain, the Jets in the bathtub were disgusting when turned on.
Our keys to the doors on our phone’s didn’t work most of the time.
Also, if I hadn’t called a few weeks before our trip to confirm the number of people that could sleep in that room,
I wouldn’t have known that our family suite went from 5 down to 3 persons.
They did give us an extra room to accommodate 2,
however if I hadn’t reached out they might have sold out or we would have shown up and be out 2 beds.
That was frustrating that I had to reach out instead of them.

Wonderful
We were pleasantly surprised at the size of the room. The location was very good in regards to having a large choice of cafes and restaurants to eat at and discovering the department store down the street.
The jacuzzi wasn't working and the door to toilet was tight. It was fine for us but if you are a larger built guest they may have had a little problem .

Location was terrific. Loved Trastevere. Breakfast was excellent. Room was better than we hoped.
The temperature of the water in the shower was difficult to keep consistent.

The bathrooms smelled badly. It was very loud from the street and from the courtyard. The mattress was not very comfortable.

the hospitality of Antonio, an exceptional host who lives in the Trastavere neighborhood himself, and graciously helped us learn our way around it - the hotel is wonderfully located in the heart of Trastavere as we expected, but conversation with Antonio was an unexpected bonus
hotel has few amenities, with no restaurant or lounge, except a breakfast which is not memorable - we did not meet any other guests or experience anything memorable within the hotel, but we had many wonderful experiences in the Trastavere neighborhood which is just outside

The location was good and it was quiet. The staff was nice.
The room was very small. My friend and I booked the room (Classic) back in July for four nights. Our friends decided to join us and booked in October (Classic) for two nights, and they had larger rooms with couches and surfaces. We had no space for suitcases or seating. We were very disappointed. The staff had no explanation. Too bad. Most rooms are not even close to the pretty patio in the photos, and the breakfast was weak.

The location was right where we wanted to be and for that reason it's a 10.
There was someone's pill on the bathroom floor in the corner, so it made me start hoping everything was clean. There was someone sleeping in a tent outside the hotel which was sad and made me feel guilty somehow.

We loved our stay at Relais Le Clarisse in Trastevere! The location was perfect, right in the heart of this charming neighborhood, close to great restaurants and easy to walk everywhere. The staff were all so kind and helpful, and the beautiful garden was such a peaceful spot to enjoy breakfast. Our room was spotless, the bed was very comfortable, and everything was beautifully maintained. Highly recommend this lovely hotel. We would definitely stay here again!
