The hotel was close to the my destination and close to the train station. The room was comfortable with open view through the window.The breakfast was of standard level.
The price of the room was quite expensive considering the location of the hotel. The room was old-fashioned and the breakfast didn't provide many options.

A good breakfast buffet every morning even when the hotel had only 6 guests alltogether. Room size is decent, bed has a better-than-average mattress. The area the hotel is in is quiet but with no walking-distance shops or restaurants (true, the hotel has a "restaurant" where you have a few choices). They have a free parking garage under the hotel, high enough to accomodate mini-vans.
If you drive a car (we did) people are complaining about the last 100 yards/meters of road: I presume that's government's place to fix and it's not the most annoying. For years they've had an open Wi-Fi with issues, problematic, slow, and with issues: that would be a very simple issue to fix.
Some (I repeat, some) of their personel are very cold and un-interested when/if you a problems: not a good combination for a hotel.

Very far from the tourist points
Cabs are very expensive and train is there but first you have to take train then take metro and its a long journey
People with kids and who are using train and metro this hotel location wise is very far! I wont recommend

Overall, the hotel was good. Staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean and well. Breakfast was good. Quite and beautiful place in the nature.
Only three things I can criticize which were very small shower and the second bed (for my daughter) was uncomfortable because it was a sofa bed. The location of the hotel was far from the city centre and the access of the train station was not good. For this reason, I rented a car for easy transportation after the first train trip.

Everything was excellent! The beds were comfortable and super clean room and bathroom. Breakfast was amazing with a lot of food fit for everyone. Wi-fi was also very good.

Good value for money. We got complementary use of garage which was very nice. The staff was polite and efficient.
The location a bit remote from the city center, but convenient if you come with your car. The room itself could use a bit love and maintenance, plastic shower curtains are not a hotel standard for a long time.

From the check in until checkout was unpleasant .
While road closure in front of the hotel which was not mentioned . And from the station I have called 6 times nobody answered the call we reached at the hotel at 6,10 pm . Swimming pool was closed that was not mentioned !and we got to know at the time of check in .
I have informed to the receptionist that it was my daughter 6 th birthday and we purposely booked the hotel to celebrate and use pool along with poolside however no courtesy has extended . Literally at 6.24 came down to say I have not used the room and we are not happy to stay cause our purpose are not accommodating they said booking amount will not be refund as he spoke to his RDM .
There was no choice since can’t travel from there with my young child !
We have celebrated her birthday at the room with a paid dessert cake from down the restaurant ( no one bother to offer a small birthday cake while knowing ) it’s worst filling staying at Novotel this time .
Room - we stayed in 334 pool side view where my daughter was jeep in asking why I can’t use pool !
In the room we have found 2 health and safety hazards
1. Safe box upper metal was uplifted
2. Bed , right side light glass missing
No idea, it’s been fixed now or not !
Bathroom - bath tub was dirty and unable to put knob .
It has got aged so I can still understand and leave up to the management .
Whenever we call restaurant or reception no way to talk anyone probably less staff during our stay .Apparently we walk to the down to fulfill our needs . They genuinely smile and sorry about it ! I am not saying they are bad as person however probably situations has arrived and could not able to talk over the phone much or receive our calls . There was few other incident at the food and drinks however, not really matters .
I completely not understood that after listening all that that room division manger does not even met me as I wanted to speak and there was no compensation offered .
