This may sound as details but not for a 5 star hotel
when cleaning the room add new bottle of water for both guests
when the soap dispenser is disassembled it means it does not work properly, change it
when at the front desk to check restaurant don t tell me i shouldn t need to book, make the reservation on the spot , actually we went there and it was full

Staff very kind. Hotel amazing (3rd time there, 1st through booking). Facilities and rooms great! Amenities INSIDE rooms (we booked 2) awesome
Mirabele restaurant is beautiful and nice great waiters. BUT, food was VERY ok/ overpriced. AND it was was my wife s 50s birthday so, considering that we were already staying at the hotel, she was expecting a great dessert / celebration for that (we have advised that). But the experience overall at the hotel was great (10) but at restaurant was 7. Good restaurante, beautiful view, but good room to improve that! Thanks again for the staff regards

The hotel and staff are amazing, the view from the room is stunning.
A beautiful hotel in a great location the Big Bus is a 2 minute walk and will take you to all the sites of Rome.

Good location, very clean, beautifully crafted design.
Staff was very nice and helpful.
1. Food quality was quite poor for the price, restaurant and room service. Ordered a 40 euros cheese platter that looked like random pieces thrown on a plate.
2. Music in restaurant and rooftop bar was very old fashion and a bit on the mood killer side

The Hotel is beautiful, and the rooms are spacious, albeit our bedroom was modernly furnished with only the oversized king bed and two large comfy chairs. Pillows and bedding comfy. the Lighting was good, location of charging outlets was perfect .Bathroom lovely, was exceptionally easy, great. modern , large rain shower, marble sinks with excellent toiletries. Robes were nice, turndown service excellent, Entry has lots of old world charm in the decor. Breakfast on the rooftop was abundant and delicious. Formal restaurant at rooftop had fabulous views, Outdoor terrace not available when we were there. Dinner menu was limited but creative, very good, nice romantic place to dine, pricey, but service was superb. Wine list exceptional.
The hotel is really a bit out of the way, and getting taxis was problematic, sometimes waiting about 15 minutes even for an Uber. but the staff and doorman really tried The well placed syktop bar, with stunning views, does not open for an afternoon cocktail until 5 pm, nowhere else to get a cocktail other than upstairs formal restaurant, which was peculiar location at 4:30 pm.. empty of everyone.

I had the pleasure of spending two unforgettable nights at Hotel Splendide Royal, and I can honestly say it was one of the most memorable hotel experiences I’ve ever had. From the moment I stepped into the lobby, I felt as if I had been transported into a world of timeless elegance and intimacy.
The room was beautifully designed—spacious, refined, and filled with small details that made it feel personal rather than just luxurious. Waking up to the soft light coming through the windows and the view of Rome’s greenery was something truly special.
What really stood out, however, was the atmosphere of the hotel itself. It’s not just a place to stay—it feels like being welcomed into a historic Roman residence where every corner tells a story. The staff carried themselves with a perfect balance of professionalism and warmth, making me feel genuinely cared for during my entire stay.
Breakfast on the terrace was an experience of its own: sitting above the rooftops of Rome, sipping coffee, and watching the city slowly come alive beneath the morning sun. It was magical in every sense of the word.
Two nights here felt both too short and perfectly complete—a retreat full of beauty, calm, and a touch of romance. Hotel Splendide Royal didn’t just host me; it gave me memories I will carry with me for a very long time.

Elegant, gorgeous accommodations, outstanding staff, lovely breakfast buffet and restaurant. Upgraded to a suite for our 3-night stay! Fabulous marble bathm walk-in shower, extra large king bed, sofa and two luxurious chairs, paintings... Great location.

Lovely traditional hotel near the Borghese gardens and Spanish Steps. Staff members were exceptionally attentive. Views from the breakfast room, Mirabelle restaurant and rooftop bar were lovely.
There was nothing not to like.

Disappointed the rooftop bar was closed for private parties 2 out of our 3 nights . The rooftop bar was one of the reasons we chose this Hotel .
