Set just opposite the Pantheon and a 5-minute walk from Piazza Navona, Antico Albergo del Sole al Pantheon is located in Rome’s Piazza Della Rotonda. The location was perfect. We could walk most places. The front desk staff was incredibly helpful before we arrived and during. Andrea went out of his way multiple times to help our family. I would stay here every time I came to Roma.

We stayed in the Sartre suite. It was very quiet (not facing the Pantheon) and the AC was excellent during the heat wave (100°F / 37°C.) The bathroom was large. Overall the room was comfortable for two adults and one teen. Reception is 24hrs and friendly. Hotel is really in the center of it all.

It was so pretty, extremely clean and the view was amazing. We started every morning and ended every night on the balcony looking at the pantheon. I was worried it was going to be loud at night but we slept with the window open and we still couldn’t hear anything.
There wasn’t a carbon monoxide detector, so pack your own traveling one because this place is worth it!

The hotel is beautifully located in the heart of old Rome, which made our stay truly special. We were lucky enough to have a balcony with a stunning view of the Pantheon, and it was absolutely unforgettable. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. They assisted us with carrying our luggage even though our taxi had to stop quite far from the hotel, and they did the same for us again upon departure. Their kindness and support made a big difference in our overall experience.

Location was incredible! You walk outside of the hotel lobby and you are right in the heart of the plaza to the Pantheon. The room was a great size for two people comfortably, and it was always clean and had amazing air conditioning.
