Breakfast was good. The rooms were clean and the staff friendly. The only problem we had was that the map they give of the surrounding area is too detailed with too many trees and it is confusing to someone new to the city.

The room and bed would shake every few minutes. Not sure what this was caused by, but would be an issue if you are a lite sleeper.
Two singles pushed together rather than a double.
No water in the gym.

its location and oldness of building was amazing
U cannot sleep at this hotel at all. At the middle of the night u will think that earth quake is coming. Beside there is no AC in the rooms. We were about to freezing till morning. Also u can hear every single conversation of people from any room. Overall i recommend no one to go there

Disappointing
We had a disappointing stay at this hotel due to cleanliness issues and poor room conditions.
When we first checked in, we found many ants in the bathroom — not just one or two random insects, but a noticeable amount. We immediately went to the reception, and to be fair, the staff member was helpful and offered us another room.
Unfortunately, the second room was worse than the first one. It looked like the bathroom hadn’t been renovated in a long time and had multiple maintenance problems. The fixtures were old, the tap in the sink was leaking constantly and couldn’t be closed properly, and when we flushed the toilet, the water almost overflowed. We managed to prevent it from spilling over the edge, but it was very unpleasant and clearly not normal.
The windows faced an enclosed courtyard, which made the room feel less comfortable in comparing with the previous one. The soundproofing was terrible — we could hear absolutely everything. The chandelier even shook when people walked on the floor above.
The room was also very stuffy. The window couldn’t be set to a ventilation mode — it could only be fully closed or open, and the air conditioning didn’t work.
Overall, while the reception staff tried to help, the hotel needs serious improvements in cleanliness, maintenance, and sound insulation. I wouldn’t recommend staying here until these problems are fixed.

Close to metro, walking distance from popular sites. Beds were comfy. Nice bathroom. Staff were kind.
