The staff was incredibly helpful and very friendly. I’m sorry I didn’t get everyone’s names, but they were all super nice. I remember Alen and Marley — they were very kind and even let me into the room hours early, as I had arrived a bit ahead of time. The hotel is also in a prime location, with lots of restaurants and some lovely shops nearby.

The staff were excellent! All very friendly, welcoming and smiling, makes a big difference to a stay! Provided a map with attractions and local places to eat.
Would be helpful to have a small kettle in the room but one was provided on asking at Reception.

Location great, staff great, however breakfast was very basic and not a lot of option, room was a tad small but again the location made up for it. Staff were super helpful and attentive and gave recommendations on where to shop, eat etc.

Superb location for exploring Rome. Staff are incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay, particularly the front desk team who helped with some great restaurant recommendations and tips on what to see and best ways to get there - helped make our stay in Rome even better and much appreciated!

The Hotel Grifo was easy to find and just 20 minute walk from train station and just a 5-10 minute walk to see the Coliseum. The lobby is staffed 24 hours a day and the reception folks are great. Very friendly. Happy to help with directions and recommendations. The breakfast offered a lot of options and was very good. They do have a lift so heavy bags not an issue to get up stairs which are a bit on steep side. There are a ton of food options including a great gelato place and pizza takeaway place a 1-2 minute walk.
The only thing we would caution folks on is the shower is a tight space. So if you are taller or more generously proportioned it might take some careful maneuvering

It was good . Staff exceptional best part of hotel . Very helpful . Beds ok i have had better . Short stay 2 days . So fine for that . Location close to coloseum and trevi fountain lots of cafe restuarants within 2 mins or less
It would have been nice if you could have got a cup of tea or coffee from the breakfast room at any time not just breakfast . No tea or coffee in the rooms . Otherwise no complaints

Great location with plenty of options of different restaurants and places to eat close by, very close to the Colloseum and within a 15 to 20 minute walk to other sites in Rome. Comfy bed. Good breakfast with plenty of options to suit different tastes, including cereal, yoghurt, fruit, scrambled eggs, sausages, toast and spreads, cold meats and cheese plus sweet treats and different juices plus tea and coffee. Super helpful and friendly staff. Cute street and felt quite safe in the area at night. Room was small but we expected that. Our room overlooked an inner courtyard of apartments and was very quiet at night with absolutely no traffic noise. Good to have a lift even though it was tiny.
Room was a bit dark and small, shower was small and in need of a renovation. But we expected this and it was ok for us. Shower water temperature was hard to get right, often a bit cool and couldn't adjust it to be warmer. Shower door didn't seal and leaked water over the floor. Only one hook in the bathroom for towels so had to hang towels over a railing in main bedroom meant for hanging clothes up.
Fruit offered at breakfast was potluck and served whole so hard to cut up with no decent knife and lack of space on tiny breakfast tables. But just ask if you have a preference of fruit

The location couldn’t have been better — almost everything worth seeing was within walking distance. There were also some amazing little restaurants nearby with great quality food. The staff were fantastic; everyone was incredibly helpful and friendly.

Staff were very helpful and could not do more for us! Fantastic location, easy to get to all main attractions and Termini within a 5 minute taxi, could be walked easily. Would recommend to anyone thinking of visiting. Thank you
