The central location was awesome. All major sights easily on a walking distance. Cheap breakfast, even if repetitive. Very quiet rooms. Rooms very clean and cleaning staff very friendly.
Maybe the elevator. We understand, it was added to an existing, old building. But it’s very small (two people and their luggage barely fit), it’s hot inside. It’s slow. And can’t handle all the traffic, that’s needed. Doesn’t help, that rooms are in five floors and basically have to walk six floors up a few times a week.

Entrance / Lobby - not easy when carrying luggage and only one very tiny elevator .

We had to ask to have the air conditioning set to a cooler temperature. We had to leave for the airport at 7:00 so we could not get coffee or breakfast at the Cafe because they were not open.

The air conditioning worked amazingly well for when Rome was extremely hot .

The location is terrific with respect to walking to various tourist sites and the train station. The age of the facility is preserved, yet it has many modern touches. Our room was quite comfortable and very well-appointed. Lastly, the breakfast was wonderful from the welcoming staff, the variety of fresh items offered and excellent items such as the blended juices and hot beverage machine.
It was tricky to use the compact elevator especially during check-in/out with luggage.

Breakfast was very good with a nice variety of choices.
Would have been nice if there was an on premise location for wine or cocktails, but plenty in close proximity. Just a note, not a criticism!

Our room was very clean and the bed was comfortable, but we were always too warm, particularly at night. The hotel was in a great location. The front desk staff were very helpful in arranging a ride to the airport for us.
Not being able to lower the room temperature. It was preset to a certain temperature and would not go lower than that.

Close to everything. Walkable to major attractions.
The air conditioning would not go down enough. Got hot at night, luckily we got to open windows to help. Not sure how that would help in the summer.

My wife especially enjoyed the breakfast
I was disappointed because the leading photo for the hotel was a beautiful museum looking building across the street instead of the hotel. The word nearby should be plastered on that photo instead of leading one to believe that the hotel was that large building. I expected a lavish entry and hallway and grand rooms in a large hotel not walking up a flight of stairs in an apartment building to get to a small room for the front desk. That part was disappointing
