Very Poor
The location of the hotel is great, and the staff's attitude is very good! However, I hope that the following points can be addressed with honesty and respect for the customers.
The room I booked is 27 square meters and fully paid in advance! However, when I checked in, the receptionist kept telling me that because the hotel was fully booked, he had upgraded me to a room with a small living room. We were grateful but insisted that we needed a room with a bathtub. When we happily arrived at the room, there was no bathtub, so we immediately requested a room change! I returned to the front desk and told him that I needed a room with a bathtub, and I was very firm about it. The gentleman told me, "Is a shower not okay? I’ve already upgraded you!" (His so-called upgrade was smaller than the room I originally booked with a bathtub.) I was unhappy and showed him my booking information! I booked a 27-square-meter room with a bathtub, and I had already paid; why should full booking affect me? I occupied the front desk for 10 minutes while he kept telling me it was fully booked! But I was persistent! Eventually, a lady took over, and I showed her my booking! She said, "Yes, you booked a 27-square-meter room," and then I stood there for another 15 minutes before she finally said there was a room available, after which I waited another 15 minutes for them to check everything! The whole process wasted me nearly 45 minutes!
At checkout, I was asked to pay the city tax, which is reasonable, but there was an additional charge of 22%! I confirmed with the front desk what this charge was for, and I said I didn't use the minibar or room service. The front desk told me that was a tip for all the hotel staff! First of all, we already gave tips when the hotel staff brought our luggage, so charging again is inappropriate, but it should be respectful of the guests, as tourists should decide how much to give! It’s not that you printed the bill and when the customer questioned it, the front desk said, "You can refuse to give a tip, and I will remove it right now." How do you expect customers to respond?

Exceptional
A truly outstanding stay at Hotel d’Inghilterra. The location is simply perfect: right in the heart of Rome, within walking distance of everything, yet remarkably quiet and peaceful, ideal for those seeking tranquility without giving up a central setting.
The hotel preserves an authentic historic charm, enhanced by fresh and beautifully renovated interiors that combine elegance, modern comfort, and respect for tradition. A sense of class is present in every detail.
Special praise goes to the staff, always gracious, attentive, and professional, with the rare ability to make guests feel genuinely welcomed.
The on site restaurant is excellent, and the rooftop garden bar is especially charming, a perfect place to relax in a unique atmosphere after a day in Rome.
A first class property that brings together history, style, and true hospitality.

Disappointing
Location
The soundproofing is clearly insufficient: noise from neighboring rooms, conversations in the corridors, and doors slamming can be heard very distinctly. For a hotel of this category, this is disappointing and significantly affects the quality of rest.
The most frustrating part of the stay concerned breakfast. We had agreed the day before on a reduced rate, yet this was not honored and we were charged the full price. The manager then spent a considerable amount of time on the phone to clarify the situation, without showing much friendliness or understanding. A more professional and customer-oriented approach would have been appreciated.
