Hotel colosseum was awesome. My family stayed for a week and it was flawless. The staff was excellent. Very friendly and helpful with all of our needs. They were especially patient and kind to my 2 year old daughter. Every morning she was greeted by the employees in the lobby and breakfast area with open arms. The breakfast selection was simple and delicious. They had eggs and bacon every morning which is not a typical Italian meal but it made feeding my daughter a breeze. The women who run the breakfast area are delightful. They were happy, pleasant, and would make you fresh cappuccino or espresso. The property has air conditioning and a roof top terrace with awesome views of the city. They also had a lobby bar. 10/10
Only negatives about the property were the room sizes. With a king bed and a crib in the room things were very tight in terms of space but that would not be everyone’s experience. Aside from that the property is close to the colosseum and not the “heart” of Rome. However I knew that when I booked so it was not a problem for my family. The trevi and pantheon were about 25-30 min walks, but that wasn’t too bad even with a stroller.

The view was an amazing welcome to Rome! The staff were all friendly and I will miss saying Buongiorno to the ladies in the breakfast room. If you are happy to walk, everything is a comfortable distance away. We did get an Uber to the Vatican as we woke up too late to walk and that cost €17 in rush hour.
