Modern, clean and comfortable. The rooms are sufficient and not too small especially for such an ancient city. Americans may think it’s on the smaller side compared to tradition American hotels but I felt it was kind of spacious. Lots of room in front of the bed to store bags.
Location was perfect. Right next to all the ruins and a short walk to the colosseum. Also a short walk across the river to Trastevere where you can find great restaurants. There is a farmers market on the weekend nearby that’s worth a stop. By the market is a row of great restaurants and my favorite was Conso Pizza e Cucina where the server is the owner and he made the food with love, order the specials and you won’t be disappointed.
Our hosts were amazing. Pino reached out immediately after booking and upgraded the room which is probably why it was roomier to me. He provided great recommendations and was so welcoming and proud of his city. I’ll definitely stay here again. I didn’t take any picture except for the view from our window
I liked everything. Nothing to complain about. But be aware the hotel sits above street level and there are about 12 stairs to walk up from the parking lot. Once inside there are a set of stairs to get to the rooms which the host helps with carrying the bags. I didn’t get the name of our other host but she even carried my suitcase and duffle bag to the taxi in the parking lot when leaving and I mentioned how strong she is.

The hotel's location was phenomenal—everything was within walking distance, and there’s even a shortcut that leads directly to the Roman Forum. We slept very well in the room, which was quiet and comfortable. We had booked one of the rooms with a balcony, which was perfect for enjoying a morning coffee. It was also shaded, which we especially appreciated in the July heat.
Next to the hotel was a lovely Italian restaurant, and the staff gave us several excellent recommendations for places to eat beyond the typical tourist spots. I can’t speak highly enough of the staff—they were incredibly friendly, the room was cleaned daily, and they went above and beyond to arrange a taxi for us to the airport on our departure day, which happened during a taxi strike.

The room was very comfortable and spacious. The staff was friendly and helpful. The location was perfect and within walking distance of most of the tourist highlights and great restaurants. It is walkable to the train station if your luggage can handle the cobblestones. Super clean and extra special touches like complimentary water bottles and morning snacks. Also a very reasonable minibar in the room. We loved every moment of our stay and will return again if we ever get the opportunity. Thank you for being a part of our wonderful memories of Rome!

The room was a great size with a lovely view, location was very central but quiet at night time which meant we could get some sleep - the host was extremely helpful and gave us lots of helpful tips on restaurants/attractions etc

The service was excellent, they were very helpful always there to give us directions and restaurant recommendations. When our car was broken into he went as far as to take us to the police station and helped us file a report.

I love this hotel, very close to the colosseum and all of the other attractions. The owners were super helpful. They washed all of our clothes free of charge and helped us with getting a cab to the airport super early. We would definitely stay there again when we visit Rome.
No gym, but there is so much walking that we ultimately didn't need it a gym.

Loved Katherine and Pino. They were very helpful and sorted out a few problems we had. One of us was hospitalised and the suite was perfect 5 minute walk for visits and a safe area to stay.

The location, cleanliness, toiletries and cheap mini bar were excellent. The owners/managers were lovely and very welcoming. The room was a good size with great views and a really comfortable bed. We will definitely come back.

This boutique hotel has an amazing location. Palantin Hill and the Forum is located just behind the hotel. Colosseum is an easy 15-20 mins walk. There are several good restaurants and cafes nearby. Catherine is very helpful and very knowledgeable of the area and the sights too!
Yes, there are stairs to the rooms but Catherine helped us carry the bags up.
