The location is very nice for touring historic Rome. Lots of dinning options and shopping is close as well.

Location perfect walking distance to restaurants and landmarks. Located in the quaint area of the city with cobblestone streets. We appreciated that both bedrooms had their own bathroom. We traveled with another couple and the apartment was large enough for privacy . We also liked that there was a washer and drying rack since we stayed 6 nights. The kitchen was convenient too. Check in was smooth and our host even connected us with a car service for transport from the airport. Would recommend.
We don't have any negatives. Maybe that the showers were small but that's to be expected in Europe.

Within walking distance of all major points of interest. Restaurants and food stores close by.
Extremely convenient.
Located in a narrow and dirty alley.
I was sleeping in a sofa bed and both the bedding and towels smelled.

Great location, with easy walking distance. Lots of room.
We had to ask for more Toilet paper. That took a few days to get from cleaning staff. Although it had a kitchen, no hot pads, paper towel or garbage can liners. Small showers.

Property was fantastic - spacious 2 bedroom apartment in an excellent location , walking distance to everything in Rome . Comfortable beds ( new mattress in main room !) , with all kitchen facilities you could ask for .
Cecilia was so helpful in providing us with information on supermarkets and taxi services to / from airport (thanks Gino !) - she was super quick to respond to our questions .
There are a host of fantastic restaurants , icecream parlours , wine bars & bakeries on your doorstep here - we will be definitely be back again !
Nothing - it was excellent !

This was a spacious, clean apartment in a fabulous location, close to major sights and in a lively neighborhood.
It’s quite loud. There’s a lot of street noise, and it sounds like it’s right in the apartment. This would be a great apartment for very sound sleepers. Also, the bed in the main bedroom definitely needs a new mattress. You can feel the springs in the mattress.

We found the apartment to be large and meet all of our needs, including two spacious bedrooms and bathrooms. Full service kitchen though we only used the espresso machine and fridge. Washing machine with drying racks in the bathroom made it convenient. Hosts were proactive and reachable, meeting us on arrival. The location is top notch! Steps to the best restaurants and sites in Rome. While I read some reviews, about cleanliness, I found the apartment to be impeccably clean. Also, I saw reviews regarding the space feeling dark without windows, and although there’s no windows, you can see out of, a decent amount of light flows in.
As other reviews stated, the master bedroom’s mattress is thin and should be replaced.

We stayed here for 3 weeks and there were definitely pros and cons. Both Cecilia and Mr. Pietro had excellent communication. We were late arriving and he waited for us at check in. The location is perfect, right between Piazza Navona and the Pantheon. Close to grocery stores and shops. All of the appliances worked well, with lots of hot water and excellent WiFi. The apartment is very large with lots of space. Because we were there for a long term stay, we had 2 days of cleaning service, which was very nice.
But the apartment feels like you’re living in a cave. It is very humid, which creates a musty smell, and makes the sheets feel damp. There isnt much ventilation, since the transoms only open a crack. So to get any fresh air, you have to open the front door (but then you get fumes from the motorcycles). There isnt much light, unlike in the photos. However the biggest problem is the mattress in the big bedroom, it is very old and thin and the springs are pushing through. I wouldn’t recommend staying here until the mattress is replaced. The kitchen was also difficult, there are no drawers, and no cabinets to hold any food. It was missing several things we felt were necessary, so we purchased them and left them for the next person. The cookware is warped and mis-matched, broken handles. Many of the dishes are chipped. We found cooking a meal to be difficult at times. I would say this is a great place to stay for a few nights, but not for a long term stay. For the price we paid, I dont think we would return.

Pleasant
Top location, clean apartment, very kind and responsive stuff.
Apartment looks totaly different in real, compared to photos. It is dark and in the basement and the only way to get some fresh air is to open the front door.

Cecilia is an excellent host and very responsive from booking until we left the apartment even though we had some issues with the WIFI coverage . Also it was easy on key handover as Signore Pietro who was the caretaker was responsive and waited for us .Excellent whatapp communication until we arrive at the apartment .
We stayed for a total of 10 days and the apartment is comfortable but definitely need some refurbishment . What I definitely love about the apartment is the location .. I will give a 9 out of 10 for the location of the apartment as its central and within walking distance to all places we want to visit .
1.Kitchen facilities was complete and functional.
2. Washing Machine was working well
3. Bathroom is clean and shower pressure is good .
In my personal opinion, I will summary below what would be have made the apartment amazing and more comfortable for all future guests.
1. Apartment needs a fresh coat of paints.
2. The Main bedroom bed is too soft and I think older folks will struggle with it . I think the bed springs are worn out and a new bed would be more comfortable for the moan guest who sleeps in the main bedroom
3. The main bedroom needs an additional cabinet as there is only one hanger closet and no place to put your others cloths. Maybe another suggestion is to get rid of the baby cot was it takes up space and put a cabinet there .
4. A wall mirror in bedroom would be good . No mirror in the bedroom. except in bathroom .
5. No hangers to hangout towels top dry in the bathroom. A couple of hooks in the bathroom will definitely help us all.
6. We had WIFI connection and Coverage issue for the 1st 7 days of our stay . Cecilia was responsive and tried to assist in resolving the internet issue during the 7 days and at last , she had to call in the WIFI Operator to replace the modem. At that , we had better WIFI coverage in the apartment . I do hope the future guest can share their review on the WIFI coverage and advise if its ok now .
7. I notice we only get a limited mobile operator coverage when we are in the apartment . Nothing to do with the apartment but I believe we are in one of the blind spot areas for mobile operators and mobile operator coverage in the apartment is very bad. I hope future guests can also share their opinion on the mobile phone coverage in their reviews esp when they are in the apartment .
A little bit of noise at night as its on the ground floor and you can hear people walking and talking but I expected that from all the earlier reviews of the place . Slightly more noise level on weekend as there are a few restaurant nearby and you can hear people walking and talking until 2 am at night . Personally. that's didn't bother me too much.

Poor
The apartment was generally spacious. However, the bedroom in the back was cramped. The AC worked well. The front bedroom had nice curtains to make the room dark for sleeping. The area wasn't too loud, and was generally quiet after the restaurants at the end of the alley closed. The showers had good water pressure. We chose this area because it was central to places we were visiting in Rome. We were greeted by Pietro and he showed us how to use the AC and where everything was in the apartment.
The apartment was very dirty. The dust on the overhead steel bars was so thick that it would float down on us when the air conditioner was on. We would not sit on the couch because the arms were crusty with dirt, and it smelled like dirty feet and body odor. The back bedroom had a large, open metal grill in the transom above the door to the utility closet, where the washer was located, that had no curtain or way of covering it; so it was bright early in that room. The metal grill was covered in dust so thick that when the door to the utility room was opened or closed the dust would float down into the room. The floors hadn't been mopped properly in a while. I dropped one of my wet towels on the floor in the front bedroom and it was gray when I picked it up. There was a large gouge in the wall of the front bedroom that needs to be repaired. There were multiple places that looked like black mold was growing throughout the apartment. Our bed was uncomfortable. The mattress was old, saggy and a spring was poking me in the rib most of the time I slept. There were no hooks or bars to hang towels in the front bathroom. The hot water would not last through a shower. I had to constantly change the dial to keep from freezing or scalding. When we returned from our tour the first afternoon there were 2 men sitting on the front door of the apartment that our tour guide chased away. Then I understood the need for all the security cameras in the alley, and I didn't feel safe. Considering how dirty everything else was in the apartment we were not very confident that the dishes had been properly cleaned, and used the kitchen very little. There were several notes in the apartment or sent to me after our stay encouraging us to rate the place a 4 out of 5 because hosted rooms/apartments are rated differently from hotels. I disagree. If a place is dirty, it's dirty; whether it's a hotel, apartment, home, or a palace.

The property was spacious and a wonderful location, near restaurants and Navona Square. We were met at the property when we arrived and were able to leave our luggage so we could not be burdened as we walked around and familiarized ourselves with the location.
There is not much to not like about Navano Square apartment. We did have a few suggestions for the host, one of which is that they check the temperature of the shower in the bathroom by the twin beds so that it could be adjusted to be a comfortable temperature. Since we often stay in locations where we feel like Residents this location was excellent. The only inconveniences is having to take the trash a few blocks away to the supermarket and deposit it in the public trash cans. But, we chalked that up to one of the experiences of living in Rome, we presume.
