I liked that it was close to many locations of interest. I liked it was gated, and a quiet stay with some rich history to the place.
I wish the apartment we rented had a clothes washer. They provided one for us to use but it was in another apartment so it was available to use.

My stay here was exceptional! After a week in Rome and Florence, this was the perfect way to relax. The room was wonderful- very spacious and included all the amenities we needed. We were greeted by the hotel manager who was super friendly and accommodating and went out of her way more than once to make sure we had a great experience. There is a train station a short walk away from the Castello, but we did not even end up going to the city because we wanted to enjoy the grounds/room/and charming little town during our short 2-day stay as much as possible. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable, quiet (and great value!) break from the city. The restaurant/bakery/bar by the Castello was also a great part of our stay. This is a very "local" area and we felt fully immersed in Italian life!

The structure and the grounds were beautiful. The location was easily accessible.

Wow wow wow
This place made our stay in Rome.
From the beginning we were met at the security gates, given time at reception and given the oldest room in the castle which was very beautiful and spacious. The rooms was decked out with beautiful furniture and decor. The beds were so comfy and luxurious.
There was a kitchen which we could cook and a supermarket close by
The easy access to Rome was great with only a short work to the station. To spend a busy day in Rome and come back to our castle on the hill made us feel like kings and queens of Rome.
We spent an hour wondering the grounds and the olive trees which was relaxing too.
This accommodation is a MUST and we recommend this place to anyone who wants luxury and tranquility within Rome.

We were off to Napoli when the trainsystem shut down. So we decided to stay another night in Rome, away from the hustle and bustle, and we are so glad we did ! Stunning grounds, amazing service! Full kitchen, there’s no food on the grounds so we went to the grocery store prior. The air is so fresh, the views are stunning, the pool is very clean. Everything was beautiful, unfortunately we didn’t have very nice weather!
Would’ve loved a private terrace, but there is a lot of gorgeous outdoor space to explore !

A gorgeous property! We loved the garden and courtyard, the olive grove, the swimming pool (we had it to ourselves most of the time). The cottage was spacious, very comfortable and well equipped. Easy to get to Rome, while enjoying the beautiful Italian countryside. The host was lovely and very helpful. A great stay

the old Duke's palace is great for people who like serenity, beauty, and lots of land.
There is no food or drink on the site so one has to be resourceful in provisioning one's apartment.

Beautiful, historical property just a stone’s throw from Rome. We stayed two nights in the 2-bedroom split level apartment. It was spacious and charming with wonderful air conditioning.
Like many other reviews, we would have appreciated a dish towel for the kitchen, as it has no dishwasher. This apartment’s entrance is also next to, I assume, the property owner’s driveway, so privacy would likely be better in the other units.

Very unique Castello just north of Roma. Beautiful views and sunset. Friendly staff. Parking next to our room. Clean pool with views.
Not many restaurant choices close by and they close by 930
Discount market close by. White Castelli wine $2 a bottle. Very good

We flew into Rome Fiumicino airport and caught a train to Settebagni the Castello del Duce is 500m from the station but they came to collect us. We had access to our room earlier than expected. Everything was done to ensure our comfort and enjoyment. The property is surrounded by fabulous countryside and is 15-20 mins outside Rome. We will return.
No tea towel to dry dishes/glasses - our fault as we never asked for them either as we only needed it late in the evening.
