This is such a beautiful place to stay. We loved our apartment and the location. Rome was 20 mins away by car so we saw all the sites and then came back to peace, quiet, beautiful views and a gorgeous pool. A real haven. The host is very kind and friendly too. We felt welcome from the moment we arrived. Thank you.

The bathroom downstairs is a little small and has no place to hang your wet towels - easy improvement to make

Great to have space for the family to settle after long travel. Nice easy stroll to the village and train into Rome. The property is also beautiful with a great pool that the kids enjoyed. The staff were great and helped us out a lot.

The location is absolutely breathtaking. The view from the hill is second to none. The rooms are sizeable and comfy. And Joseph is simply brilliant - quick to respond to emails / WhatsApp, he arranged some shopping ahead of our arrival and he did everything he could to help us after the check-out.

Everything was perfect!!!! The location, the view and specialy the service of Joseph was amazing, the place is incredible if you want to be relax, the station is 15 min walk, so good conection with public transport only is quite far from rome (we did almos 2 hrs by bus maybe because was sunday) super market, restaurantes are close by.
It is difficult to say, maybe some toilets next to the swimming pool, because the room was quite far away

The place was just beyond awesome! Would love to visit it 10 more times. Fits well only if you arrive by car. Stayed in Barone room and it was exceptional. The pool, the garden and all the facilities. The owners are taking care of the place on the highest level of quality. We enjoyed the place for 100% as we stayed for 6 days in total. We even had a room cleaning in the middle. During my travel years I have never seen such a taken-care-of place in Italy.
The only thing that I was missing was a little more kitchen equipment. As it's far away from some nice dining or breakfast places, we were cooking quite a lot. Missed some bowls, forks, spoons and wine glasses. Didn't want to use dishwasher after every small meal, but were forced to because of missing utensils. Asked Joseph for some missing things and he got them in the end so everything was solved.

Castello del Duca is a great place to stay, friendly staff, air conditioning and great pool
The property is a little isolated and requires a lot of walking. We wished we had rented a car to make things a little easier but the location is also part of what we liked too, so you cant have it all! I think it would be a welcome addition to have bikes available or bread and milk deliveries during the stay.

The property is amazing! The views are breathtaking, and you can find peace there just by gazing at the gardens, olive trees, or the beautiful sunset from the pool area.

Beautiful apartment in a magnificent environment. The property made us feel like royalty with the views, the beautiful architecture and gardens. A slice of heaven to enjoy after sightseeing in Rome center. Joseph was so helpful and kind with any questions or requests. I highly recommend!
