The location is just brilliant, only 6 minutes walk from the Vatican City. Therefore, easy to plan to beat the queues. Augusto is pretty easy to approach and a super nice fellow so if you tell him what you wish to have for breakfast, he'll go the extra mile to get you sorted. He speaks good English so easy to communicate with. Our room had aircon which is pretty handy when it gets too hot. The whole property was spotless so felt like home. Augusto was also super helpful and gave us good ideas about places to visit, which he marked on the map he gave us. Bathroom was right opposite our room with everything one needs, he even bought us tooth brushes! The beds are also nice and comfy, and helped us to recover well after our long walks.

Augusto is the best host, he will give you insider tips and make you feel welcome in his home. The breakfast was very nice because he uses the best Italian products. The location is just perfect, located on a walking street (quiet, the rest of Rome is pretty loud) with cool shops, Metro station nearby and you can see the vatican city from your room!

Augusto is a great host, very friendly and extremely helpful. The property is clean, very well-equipped and in a great location - great access to anywhere you’d want to visit but itself a pretty quiet neighbourhood.

Breakfast was to order. Augusto was incredibly kind and thoughtful and even packed a bulging bag of breakfast items one day I had to catch an early bus tour. Location was excellent for exploring vatican and also very close to metro line A. Lots of restaurants near by.
On the street, a couple of near by building doors look the same and you need to look at the numbers!

Augusto is a very friendly and helpful host. The apartment is very proper and all around pleasant, it is also perfectly located in Prati (~100 m from both Vatican and Ottaviano subway station). Whenever I'm in Rome, will try to stay at Augusto's from now on!

We had a wonderful stay at Da Augusto. The location couldn’t be better—literally just steps from St. Peter’s Square. The apartment was spotless, and the bathroom was fully equipped with everything you might need, from shower gel to a toothbrush. We stayed in the quadruple room, and the mattress was really comfortable, it was not too soft as usually in hotels, it had a perfect firm support, which we really appreciated. There was also a small fridge in the room, which was really convenient for keeping water cold during the hot days. The view of the charming street below was a lovely bonus.
The metro is only a minute away, though we barely needed it since the city center is so easy to reach on foot.
What truly made our stay exceptional, however, was Augusto himself. He is incredibly kind, friendly, and genuinely attentive. Every morning he prepared breakfast tailored to our preferences: fresh sweet croissants, toast with ham and cheese, tea, and excellent coffee. We especially appreciated his daily recommendations for places to visit based on our plans—his tips really enriched our trip.
If we return to Rome, we will definitely choose Da Augusto again. Thank you, Augusto, for an amazing experience.
