Location is really good!
It’s not a hotel, there is no reception and the check in process is sketchy! It’s in an apartment building, they converted half a floor into 5 rooms with each a private bathroom.

Room was ok for the price and location.
Shower needs a deep cleaning in walls. The main issue was checking in. The rooms are located in a building with many residents and some businesses. I rang the bell for Vatican Treasure and it said something about not having enough balance, so no one answered. So I searched online for a phone number and I was lucky to have a friend with local call phone, and the phone was disconnected. At this point I thought this was a scam. Then I remembered something about a Cola hotel that someone mentioned in the reviews and I called that number, someone answered and let me inside a shared patio with 4 other entrances. Then, there was another door and no one to open, so by chance a cleaning person for the building let me in and told me where to go. Then after going upstairs 5 floors, ( did not take the old elevator), I got to a door with the sign of Vatican treasure. Then by chance someone was cleaning a room, so she opened and gave me a key. The Vatican treasure sent an email that I saw after all this happened asking my arrival time. This shows a total lack of professionalism and respect to a customer. Wouldn’t be logical to have been provided clear instructions for checking in and have a ring that works to start with, and have someone help with checking. All happened by chance. Then I was provided with a set of 4 keys, when I returned at night it was impossible to open the last door. We tried in many different ways to open that lock, so by chance another guest arrived and was able to open the main door also juggling the key. Can you please change the lock? I was so upset, so unnecessary to make a customer go through something like this after a long trip. Post some instructions and phone information that works. Show respect for your customers.

Very difficult to get in the person didn’t even come to show the 3 locks and combinations to get in the room , I didn’t even meet the person it was done on phone very scary dark walking upstairs I didn’t feel safe taking the 10 th century elevator
Staff I professional don’t even get help with all the combinations and locks no one came the cleaning lady was there only

Wonderful
The rooms was modern and really clean. The location is great, walking distance to restaurants and some good shopping. Easy to get to the Vatican. We had booked another property in Rome and then needed to add a night, when the original property could not accommodate us we found this one…we wished we had booked there for all out nights in Rome.
The shower was a little outdated but worked just fine.

I would say much because I was moved to another facility and when I got there, there was nobody, I had to wait with my bags sitting on the floor because of long flight and same thing when I checked out-nobody at reception, I ended up leaving with the key. Otherwise the room was clean and lovely just the reception part at their sister hotel was bad

Wonderful
The room was spacious, we had a decent size table where 2 people could eat freely. The balcony had a great view of Saint Peter's Basilica. The building was very secure with a doorman to ensure no unwanted visitors and a private courtyard. The building is 5 minutes by foot from the Vatican and had many great restaurants and sightseeing attractions in walking distance. You do not need a transport card at all, we used 4 tickets for 5 days in Rome.
The balcony door/window was old and it did not isolate the noise from the street very well. Was not a problem for us, but if you are a light sleeper consider bringing some plugs to ensure you won't get awoken by the garbage truck in the early hours.

Great location, near Vatican and Sant Angelo castle. In 10 minutes by foot, you can reach Trastevere. Room was very clean and the neighborhood quiet.

Disappointing
Good location and clean.
First of all, they moved our booking to a different “hotel” the night before so we had to stay at Vatican Nausicaa.
This is not a hotel it’s a flat divided in different rooms as “apartments”.
There’s no reception and not a very easy check-in all the way up to 4th floor.
The worse part came when the room was cold, we asked for blankets for 3 nights in a row or have the ac/heater turned on. They didn’t do anything to help and decided not to reply us anymore.
The apartment is not bad but if you are thinking of a hotel-like experience and a good host this is definitely not your place.
