I felt like I had to accommodate Francesco timeframe to go to the apartment and receive it. I was under the impression I had an hour wind to do so, but no. Francesco’s response was they have many apartments and have to meet other parties. I am a tourist, did not know my way around the city. I arrived 11:30 am in Rome I wanted to leave my luggage and come back at check in, like my other family members did at no additional charge. But I was told I needed to pay 35 euros if I did, so I walked around Rome with my luggage until 3pm. Again, I thought I had a window from 3-4pm to receive the apartment but I didn’t. I was eating at 3pm when I got a notification I was to go and meet Francesco. Or else he would leave and meet me later. I ate fast and hurried to meet him. Did not like having to be rushed. One other thing, at night it was cold and I wore sweaters to keep warm. The build tuned on the heat the last day I was there. Other than that the location was nice.

Well located and close to great restaurants plus not far from public transport. Also Trastevere is such a great neighborhood, love the vibes of it. The owner Stefano was always responsive and Francesco was attentive to let us in.
There’s nothing I didn’t like.

Good sized place, in a perfect location in Trastevere
There is an intense ringing sound from some machinery outside the windows. It comes and goes, and is slightly maddening There is a full kitchen but no paper towels, napkins, or kitchen towels, we were only given bright white bath towels Leading up to check in I was messaged on whatsapp constantly to know down to the minute when we arrived. I gave an estimate after our travel was delayed and was repeatedly pressed for exact arrival time which I could not provide We were given incorrect instructions on how to unlock the door, we left us locked out for a while until we heard back to get the correct instructions after about 9 hours of traveling For the price we paid we were not happy about these things, but if they can be fixed then the location is amazing!

Good
The location was great and the owner was very responsive, checking that everything was fine. I couldn't find a hair dryer and he brought a new one over immediately.
There was unfortunately mold in the bathroom above the shower, might not be the biggest deal for some but my husband has allergies and it made it feel slightly less comfortable.

Wonderful
Perfect location! Communication with host very detailed, easy and quick. The apartment has all the basics for a comfortable stay. Two supermarkets on the ground floor of the building. To avoid most of the touristy/student chaos, there are several good restaurant options in the streets, on the opposite site of Viale di Trastevere.
There was quite a lot of noice from renovation of the apartment right next door. No need for an alarm clock to get up on weekdays :) Not fault of the host, but It would have been nice for guests to be informed in advance.

Wonderful
the property had everything you could need when staying multiple night: washing machine, fridge, kitchenette, clotheshorse and an iron. The bed was super comfy, the aircon worked perfectly and the vibe of the neighbourhood the apartment was in was beautiful.
there were these lingering bugs within the room that were there despite us not having opening any windows. there was also a slight weird smell when we walked in but we got used to it once we had been in the room for a bit. Trastevere is absolutely beautiful and is an area worth exploring and staying in, but be prepared to walk 25,000+ steps a day if you are there to see the main attractions/explore Rome
