Excellent hotel, provided details like slippers, refillable water bottles, etc. very close to the train station and meeting point for various side trips, which was the best part!
A few days before our trip, we received a WhatsApp Message purporting to be the property, including my Booking #, full name, and dates of reservation. They said that my credit card had been declined and requested that I reinput this information with a very convincing website with Best Western and Booking.com icons. I fell prey to this and put in my information...but later I checked with the staff at the hotel and they confirmed this was spam, and it happened recently with a couple of other customers (!). I am not sure how they got this information as I have used Booking.com with other reservations in Rome and elsewhere for years with no issue. I told the staff to warn other guests. It was extremely annoying to cancel my credit card just before my trip, but I'm writing this to forewarn anyone asked to pay a site again after paying via Booking.com.

Room was better than expected , staff were friendly and helpful , it was our 25th Wedding Anniversary weekend and did not disappoint , room was quiet , bed was super comfy and the shower was immense

It was very close to Termini station, so if you need to catch the metro to the Vatican you were just 5 minutes away from Lines A and B. If you wanted to walk to Trevi Fountain or the Colosseum you were also a 10-15 minutes away. The breakfast was international with everything you needed from eggs of multiple varieties and fresh fruit and salad.
I understand that turning on the heating can make the room more comfortable and welcoming , but when it’s 16 degrees outside and we would turn off the heating we would come back with it on after cleaning.

The only thing I liked was the location.
The reception staff were not polite at all. The bathroom was not clean and felt old and worn out. There was no sound insulation in the room, and the noise was very disturbing. Unfortunately, this was one of my worst hotel experiences.”
