Staff were great, everything was clean, very good location
The selection of breakfast was very poor, with very limited options, and the food did not seem fresh. For the price we paid, we expected a much better quality and variety.
Overall, the hotel feels quite expensive compared to what it actually offers. I don’t think it provides good value for money.

The people were friend and apologetic. I actually felt sorry for all the people who worked there because they were putting up with so much grief. They should’ve closed the hotel for us.
If we knew the whole place was undergoing renovations we would have never stayed. Extremely noisy. Every day, no naps, circles under my eyes. Dust and toxics smells of glue electrical wires sticking out everywhere with out even the option of running the air.

The location is great. Entrance to Manzoni metro station is steps from the front door and the hotel is within walking distance to the Colosseum, Santa Maria Maggiore Basilica, and San Giovanni Laterano Basilica. The cafe bar on the corner has the best pastries!
I was on the 2nd floor (1st floor in Europe) with the restaurant directly below me. Lots of noise at night from moving furniture, clanking around, etc. that I could hear even through earbuds.

The staff were very accommodating. There was an initial mix-up with the room type since they didn't have family rooms available anymore but they were quick to fix it and offer us other options. There was some noise due to some ongoing construction but it was manageable. The breakfast was good and the location was great for us since it was just steps away from the underground and walking distance to the Colosseum (15 minutes). The updated rooms on higher floors were quite comfortable.
The room type that was offered on booking.com a few months ago was no longer offered bit they have changed that now to reflect the current availability.

This hotels puts design over function. Room equipment is nice but not practical. I also expected more breakfast options. The were giving us one double blanket for double bed every day!

Wonderful
This was my second stay at this hotel, and it absolutely won me over again. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel truly welcome — they immediately recognized me as a returning guest and went above and beyond: since the room was already ready, they offered early check-in and even complimentary breakfast for one morning, which was a thoughtful and much-appreciated gesture.
The location is unbeatable — Metro Manzoni is literally 20 meters away, making it super convenient to get around. The Colosseum is just a 10-minute walk away, which makes sightseeing incredibly easy.
The staff were consistently friendly, helpful, and professional throughout the stay. Their warm attitude really sets the tone for a relaxing Roman holiday.
I’ll definitely be returning again on my next trip to Rome. Highly recommended!
one issue affected our stay: we were not informed in advance that the hotel was undergoing renovation work, and as a result, there was significant construction noise from 08:30 to 4:00 PM daily. Drilling and other loud sounds made it difficult to rest in the mornings. When I called the reception, they casually acknowledged the renovation and offered to move us to another room — but by then, we had already unpacked and settled in. It would have been much more convenient if this information had been communicated before check-in, so we could’ve chosen a quieter floor right away.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. They put up with us Newfoundlanders from Canada. ANNA and the other girl who worked the same shift as her they were phenomenal. If ever back in Rome will definitely stay there again.

We were only in Rome for 2 days and the location was perfect. Day 1 we were able to walk to the Colosseum, Forum, Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain. Day 2 we took the subway (50 ft away) to the Vatican. Parking was next door and the bonus was we were able to avoid the ZTL's! We had to checkout before going to the Vatican but the front desk held our luggage until we got back that afternoon. Staff was very helpful.
