Pleasant
Old roman style luxury hotel in relatively quiet disctrict of Rome. Location is very good. Service and staff are very good and friendly and quick.
I'd say these 5 stars are far from modern luxury idea for demanding travellers. Rooms size, design, amenities and filling are outdated. Price vs offering is terribly unequal and overestimated, however, this relates to overall district and hotels in it. Probably this relates to whole Rome as well.

Location
The room wasn't clean. I asked for a king-size bed, It had 2 single mattresses of different sizes which you fell through the middle . The bathroom had toilet paper etc left in the toilet when we arrived there was rust on various bits of shower screen the taps were discoloured the tiles had previously been drilled and had four holes that had been filled . The door leading to the balcony probably hadn't been cleaned for weeks as it had 100 different finger prints on it . No uk tv except for cnn news BBC news , not acceptable nowadays . The breakfast was poor scrambled eggs only which were wet. No fried eggs bacon only streaky . Very poor choice very poor quality. Stayed at a lot of high end hotels probably worst for €650 a night .Also, with the internet, you can only have access on 5 gadgets .

Food - whether it was room service, breakfast or snacks was fresh and beautifully prepared and presented. Rooms are outstanding. Spacious and comfortable
