Location: I wanted to spend NYE at Circo Massimo, so I chose this hotel. It was only up to 10 minutes walk after the event although some of the roads were blocked.
Drinks: the hotel provided filtered water (room temperature, cold, and frizzante) & 10+ different coffee options.
Bed: the mattress was comfortable for me at rating 8/10.
Price: I spent 300+ euros on a crappy hotel for a NYE in Venice, so spending ~350 euros for two nights in Rome wasn't bad.
Shower: both shower heads (overhead & handheld) had weak pressure even though I turned it all the way up. The rectangular shower room was small for me to move around.
Noise: there were about 5-6 rooms around our room all on the first floor (Italian 1st, American 2nd), so we heard people talking and using the coffee machine. No privacy.
Heater: the heater was very weak and this was the first Italian hotel without the radiators. We were cold in the middle of the night and had to use a second blanket.

Updated and clean rooms. Hot shower with good water pressure. Comfy bed with two pillows for each person. AC worked well. Close to the metro and bus stops. Welcoming and helpful hosts! Coffee machine in lobby area.
Honestly nothing I would really change about this stay. It really met all of our needs and expectations.

Location was fantastic (5 Minutes to Circo Massimo), Staff was very friendly, Room was nice, Coffee available and a little communal terrace
Room 106: Shower did not work well, very low water pressure, it was almost impossible to wash your hair because very little water came. Water was not hot, only slightly warm.
Overall our room was quite noisy.

Alessandro went out of his way to accomodate our travel issues. The security is top notch - we felt very safe. The location near the Metro, the Coleseum and Forum and other historical sites was perfect! The beds were clean and comfortable. Rates a 10 in our book!
We could hear what was going on in surrounding apartments through the walls, but everyone did quiet down fairly early.

I liked the size of the room and bed as well as the bathroom facility. It was in a good quiet location near the Circus Maximus. Alessandro was very kind and helpful. Loved that the AC worked well since I stayed during a hot summer.

The location was perfect. You could walk to the historic centre in about 30 minutes but it was too hot to walk during our stay (summer). However, there are a ton of buses and trams that run by the property that can get you to most of the historic attractions in about 20 minutes. The property is very close to the metro line, too (about a 7 minute walk).
The staff were PHENOMENAL! 10/10! They were very friendly and accommodating.
They have a coffee machine (espresso, cappuccino, hot chocolate, etc) and a water machine that gives both flat and sparkling water.
As a female and child traveller, the building and neighborhood felt safe. The neighborhood also had lots of amazing cafes and restaurants.
The AC in the room was perfect for the intense Roman heat!
The beds and pillows were too hard for my liking but I know this is only a preference and not a mark against the accommodation.
Our shower drain was clogged and the shower would fill with water every time we showered. We were only there a couple of nights so I didn’t bother the owner about it because it wasn’t a big deal. I am confident if I told him about it he would have remedied it immediately.
The shower doesn’t have a full door so the floor often got wet while we showered. I know this is common in Europe but as a Canadian, I wanted to make other non-Europeans aware of this when considering to book.

Great location and the bed was comfortable
The shower was silly with oversized 3 shower head in a very narrow glass cubicle.
Long life milk on the first day and then told we don’t have any milk.
Hand basin needed cleaning out, it was blocked.
The worst hairdryer ever, the head was just taped on and when drying your hair it got hot and sticky.
