Location
My medicine disappeared from my suitcase .. Stolen no doubt .
I had been warned by the comments of a previous guest on Booking that they had their luggage rummaged thru.
I still made the mistake of staying here.
When I notified the staff I was told that perhaps I misplaced my medication ..
Wrong the medicine was stolen.
Now you have been warned, stay here at your own risk ..

It is in a very bad area, the neighborhood is very dirty. They don't speak English. I booked a room with a private bathroom, and the guy says to me, "You booked a room with your own bathroom, but the bathroom has already been taken, you can use the communal bathroom." In the meantime, calling Papa, as if Papa was confused and Papa says, I don't discount more than 3 euros. That hostel is a big disappointment. After a few hours, they gave me the key to the commune's bathroom, they said, here is your own bathroom,)))))) come at 9 in the morning, he says Please return the bathroom key. The doors are dirty, general dirty old condition.
There are better options in Palermo for that price and less. Don't go there. location is awful. dirty, dengerous, noisy.

The location of the B&B was good and public transportation, restaurants, cafes etc could be reached in walking distance. The bed was comfy, and the room was big with windows looking over the streets. The room was clean. We had access to a shared fridge, and we had some days with aircondition in the room.
Before arriving at our B&B, we received a message from the B&B manager that the payment was declined. After texting with the manager we were told to pay in cash at arrival. We did so, and we got a receipt for the cash payment. After our stay had ended we could see that the stay was cancelled on booking.com and it looked like we cancelled our stay, but we didn't. We went there, paid in cash, and the B&B cancelled our stay on booking.com. There was a fridge in the room which clearly hadn't been functioning in a while, because it smelled bad. On day 3/8, the remote for the aircondition in our room was taken when we were out (the remote was in our room), and without our knowledge. They shut off the AC and we didn't get an honest answer why. They gave us a fan instead, which is better than nothing of course. But it was still very weird.

Staff was very nice and the cleanliness of corridors and washroom was on top standards.
House keeping were missing for our room. we stayed four nights and nobody cleaned our room so room floor got really dirty with mud and stuff.

The price is good, the location neither good nor bad, train station was near, breakfast was less than ideal and you have to walk to the city center to find open restaurants and it takes 15 minutes.
Wi-fi connection was bad.

This is absolutely not the same room that I originally booked from the photos. None of the hosts speak English Lack of access to the Internet (in the announcement it is indicated that there will be Internet, but it does not work). No soap and toilet paper in the toilet. Dirt in the room and a dirty trash can. There is no personal privacy in the room due to the fact that the windows face neighboring windows. Breakfast of expired products.

The host was very nice and there are many shops just on the street. There is also a traditional market which we can find seafoods , vegetables and fruits. We can walk to center historic around 20 minutes.

Everything was satisfactory. The lady that cleans was very kind and considerate. They waited for me just before midnight as my flight was delayed for over an hour. Very kind to do that but why do Sicilian booking. Com allow owners to always charge over 10 when It is not our fault for late booking in.
The manager kept on following me day and night . As if I was a thief. Not acceptable. Owners were using the kitchen and this man and cleaner. They should state this in the details on booking . com. The bed mattres was so thin and the pillow tooo thick. The shower has hardly any pressure. Some people kept on arguing from there room

Exceptional
First of all the host is really friendly and helpful, available and ready to give you any information. The apartment is very well position and really beautiful decorated with Sicilian art and furniture. Clean and spacious, with fresh rooms due to the ventilators, perfect after spending some time outside in the hot summer days. I definitely recommend this place!
The thing that was a minus was that the breakfast was missing.
