Pleasant
Convenient location to central train station and town without being right in the middle of everything. In proximity to a large open square which was lovely.
Calm and quiet for the most part (with exception mentioned below)
Hosts were responsive, attentive to requests, and worked to resolve issues I raised.
The studio I booked had a strong mould/mildew smell that was overpowering for me. Since my booking was for more than three weeks, I asked to be refunded so I could book elsewhere. The host proposed swapping me to a different studio, which I accepted.
Opportunities for improvement (especially for longer stays):
- Wifi reliability. This was quite disruptive to my work schedule - and the location has limited mobile coverage which made tethering also unreliable.
- A few instances of very loud construction noise overhead (like a jackhammer, even with noise cancelling headphones). It is possible that this construction is why the studio was available for me to be swapped to in the first place, but I still would have appreciated a heads up so I could try to plan my day around it if possible.
- It would be helpful to specify on the listing that the washing machine is not within the studio, but in a shared/separate area and also used for sheets and towels.
- More attention could be paid to complete kitchen basics (chef knife, tea towel, utensils, etc.).
I think it’s important to support local small business when I travel and I have tried to write a fair review. I hope the feedback is taken in the spirit of improving the experience so that others can do the same.

The shower was larger than most
The fact that it was advertised as a full apartment when it was really a studio. And we did not have sheets for the second bed although I requested two beds. The owners started arguing with me and telling me they were going to charge me extra for sheets and blankets because it was cold at night and it does not have a living room room. There is no washing machine as stated on the listing so we could not do our laundry as planned. And the location is not the greatest.

The location is really great. Very close to the central cathedral, and other central locations. Also it is in private yard, which is calm, and you can enjoy sitting by the pool.

The location was great, near the main station, shops and a nice square behind with bars and restaurants. It was great to have our own cooking facilities at the end of our tour.
It’s not a dislike but we were too early in the season for the swimming pool.

the location. The owner was friendly and was patient because I checked in quite late, around 10 pm. He even got for me ice because I had an injury in my knee. So he was very friendly. I liked everything!

Great location within walking distance of restaurants and town. The family are very nice. Great how there’s shutters on the windows so that you can block the early morning sun out. Comfy bed too and safe complex. Good amenities such as iron, hair dryer and kettle.
Shower goes cold quickly when two people are using it. Would also be really nice to get clean towels offered to you at least every 2 days and would be nice to have someone change the sheets.
If these suggestions can be taken on board then I think it would really improve the experience.

The location is wonderful. very short distance to centre and the beach. very beautiful path around the accomodation with lots of restaurants and shops.parking place is available but you need some luck !
Unfortunately I guess the same time our stay, upstairs were people busy with renovation and we had very noisy times.
The bed was ok but the pillows and sheet covers were very old and a bit dirty. ventilation needs more attention , the one in the bathroom was also very noisy !
This place is not suitable for more than two persons as I saw on booking.com that is available also up to 4 persons !

Very chill and quiet apartment in a very good location! Did not even take 10 minutes to be at the water and the walk down there gives you everything you expect when you wanna go to Italy.
Just one window at the entrance made the whole apartment a bit darker.

The hosts were very kind and helpfull with our family! Anytime we needed something, they finded a way to help us out. The terrasse outside was very convenient to lunch and hang out.
The "clic-clac" bed was a bit old but was ok and clean.

Excellent location, in the historical centre of Palermo, with close proximity to the central station where buses run every 30 minutes from and to the airpot. The owner is friendly and kind. Good value for money and the apartment spotless clean with a well equipped kitchenette. The property was safe, and the presence of a swimming pool was very welcome. A nice secure yard allowed for more comfort and privacy.
Lack of Internet access. Although there was supposed to be a WiFi in the property, it hardly worked. In addition, my own 5G data access was very poor in certain locations of the property. I would not recommend it for a business traveller, and I am happy I did not need to do any remote work while there.

Clean property, comfortable bed. Restaurants and tourist attractions in walking distance
No twin beds, no wardrobe or anywhere to store clothes.
No secure parking, our car was vandalised. Unclear whether we were in a ZTL zone or not.
The pool is above ground and looks very unattractive as does the entrance to the property.

Great location, in a little courtyard with some other apartments. Very peaceful, but so close to everything. It was an ideal base! Hosts were really friendly and lived upstairs. Pool great to relax in and the terrace very pleasant
