After a week in hotels, staying in this house was just wonderful. Plenty of room for us (3 adults) and very comfortable. The location is fantastic...we were able to walk to just about every place we wanted to go in a reasonably short time. Our host, Luigi, was very helpful and we always knew he was available if we needed him. We had a terrific time in Palermo and this apartment really added to our enjoyment.
It's a very old building (although the apt is nicely updated) so there are a few things you need to know. The first floor apartment is actually up about 2 flights of stairs. Of course there is no elevator. The apartment is located in a very cool neighborhood and it remains pretty active

Luigi has the perfect home in the heart of Palermo. It’s big, fully equipped, and close to the grocery store and restaurants. What I love is that when it’s hot during the day, we would just stay at Luigi’s home. We would watch his smart tv, play board games and he has a lot of cool books. Luigi is also very responsive and helpful during our stay. I will miss this beautiful home so much.

The apartment is full of character, charm and is furnished with excellent taste. Its huge, with high ceilings and it feels like home, rather than simply a furnished apartment.
The host Luigi was very friendly and helpful, waited for us when we arrived, and sorted any issues, requests and a transfer for our return.

The location of this apartment is incredible--close to major sights, two markets, a great supermarket, wonderful restaurants and Gelato shops, a taxi stand...everything we wanted. The apartment was beautifully furnished beds were comfortable, the shower was spacious with lots of hot water, and everything worked. Luigi the host welcomed us warmly, as did his helpful housekeeper Laura, and they provided us excellent tips regardsing restaurants and markets close by. Luigi also brought us some tasty Palermo food treats.
Our thanks go to Luigi for this opportunity to experience life in a luxurious apartment, in the heart of Palermo. We hope to return to this beautiful, fascinating city again soon, and would love to stay again at Piazza Marina Chic.

Great location in the bustling city of Palermo. Easy parking nearby and plenty of good restaurants. Our host Luigi was so so so helpful with parking and other helpful information to enjoy the colorful city! The apartment had a washer which was incredibly useful since we would be traveling for more than two weeks. It was great to have two proper bedrooms so everyone could enjoy a good sleep, or get up and about without disturbing others.
The city stays alive late at night and it can be noisy until early in the morning. It didn’t bother us that much as we were able to minimize the noise by closing the shutters.

The property is in a great location for exploring Palermo. It is a lovely big apartment and with lots of natural light. I particularly loved having the numerous small balconies and sitting out, on the one off the lounge room, to enjoy the surroundings. Luigi was a great host and offered prompt assistance when needed.
There was nothing we didn’t like but people just need to be aware it’s restricted parking near the apartment, as in mini cities, So just be mindful of that if you have a car.

Super location located in the central in a nice neighbourhood. Very tasty pasta restaurant, gelato shop and a wine bar right outside the main entrance, well tons of other shops around, there's a big supermarket 5 mins walk away too. Also, the house is very comfortable and feels like home, plus the host is very friendly.
