Very good location close to the city center and main touristic points, nice clean room and bathroom, comfortable bed. Good communication with the owner. I recommend it price/quality/location

the place is a few walking minutes away from the center and there's a supermarket right next to it
the street it was on was very sketchy. we were harassed by a man as we tried to park our car, and got catcalled/stared at as we walked on the street to get to the house. as a group of 4 girls we didnt feel very safe.
the owner was also rude, the check out is at 10 am and she started knocking and trying to get in the room at 8:45 am, then kept knocking for a while then waited outside the door until we checked out.
mind you we left the place on time, but apparently, as i had read in other reviews, she expects you to be out an hour earlier than required.
she also accepts only cash payments
and last, there's no bidet

The host was friendly and let us check in at 1am in the night. The room was clean
I didn't have the right amount to pay cash and they didn't give me money back. It was only few 4 euros but the host told me she was changing in coins and give me money back but she didn't.

This was 3rd stay at this place, this landlord didnt give us a room that we booked(stated on booking com double room with internal cortayrd view) this is the second time she gave us the wrong room.first time was ok, second time she gave us she said big room but overlooking contruction and noizy road and now 3rd time the door wasnt working so she gave us again noisiest possible room and every single time she confirms via email that i would get the room that i booked actually since i am asking this in advance!we were here 3rd time she scamed us twice that customer service is terrible!we are old guests lady you should tell us in advance that you cant give us the room that we booked on our reservation!!the important thing is to take a money and it doesn't matter if we can actually sleep properly!

Sheila is a great host - she's been incredibly helpful and friendly. And the location is just perfect! Also the check-in until 11pm is very convenient.
I didn't get the air-conditioning remote (but when I checked-in I forgot to ask about it - maybe there was an extra charge for this?). Cash only payment is a little inconvenient but Sheila let me pay half of the amount with all the cash I had with me and then waited until I withdrew the rest from the ATM the next day.

Very good location
The woman is extremely rude. She did not make any effort to understand. I tried to speak Spanish. When i called at 10 am to ask something she yell at me that she is sleeping. if you run a hotel ten is not early. It was my check out time! The room was not aired. It had awful room spray. It gave me headache.

Sheila was a wonderful host. We booked 10 mins before we arrived from the station as we had to change flight plans. The room and bathroom were absolutely lovely.
Nostra Casa is described as a B & B but we were not offered breakfast. There is a Lidl right next door so no problem, just wondered.

Ask for quet room its really without noise and its hard to find it in Palermo
Bus and train station in 3 minute walk Lidl 10 m away and best places in old town for eating and nightlife at your doorstep really
Only we booked triple room and receive double with only one bed

The brazilian owner is very friendly, helpful and relaxed - it was no problem that we checked out one hour later than expectec. Besides, the apartment is super centrally located - 5 min. to the central station, amidst the old La Kalsa area buzzing from nightlife after dark.
The owner did lend us a water boiler and cups, but no additional dishes - and there was no fridge. So we had to improvise for our breakfast...
