Wonderful
Great location. After we visited the whole city, we definitely confirmed that the location is awesome. Close to the city center (walking distance) but nice and quiet area with lots of restaurants and food options. Hosts were really great also and helpfull, explained us everything. Breakfast was also nice.

The perfect place to stay in Palermo. Giorgia was the most kind and helpful host. Super easy communication, amazing breakfast, comfortable, modern & clean room. Also, location was perfect. Right at the center, yet a nice quiet street.

I absolutely cannot fault this place - Giorgia was the perfect hostess! Not only did she welcome me with a slice of home made cake fresh from the oven, she was also more than happy to make recommendations and was just really lovely! The room was bright, clean and comfortable and the location was ideal - about a minute's walk from Teatro Politeama and the bus stop for the airport shuttle. I loved the view of Politeama and the mountains from the balcony! The included breakfast was also wonderful and included some home made pastries.

The hospitality was very friendly and the room was clean. The location was good with ample street parking and a short walk to everything.
When I booked I suppose I didnt realise how this B&B worked or would be laid out. The only way to describe it is that it felt a bit like a private room in a hostel. Its essentially an apartment with bedrooms with a common area where breakfast is served. You open your door and whomever is eating breakfast can see directly into your room. Our room was small and there was no blanket on the bed, just a top sheet - Im sure this couldve been arranged had I of asked but I didnt. If youre looking for a budget accommodation and dont mind being in close quarters, book away. I shouldve known this would be the case for the price I paid (which was very affordable).

The breakfast was good with local yogurt and fresh ricotta. Giorgia was very kind and helpful. The location is excellent. A good value compared to other hotels in the area.

Kalamonjo is on one floor of a large flat/business block which I hadnt expected. The rooms, however, were spacious and the bathroom was nicely finished. The location of Kalamonjo is in a great part of the city, its close to all of the major sights and its a nicer area to be in than Palermo train station. Communication was great with the host.
Whilst Kalamonjo is in a good location, it is also in a noisy location. 3 nights out of the 4 I stayed, I found it difficult to get to sleep due to music/noise coming from outside the block. There is very little sound proofing at all. I also found the bed a little hard for my taste, I sleep better with a softer mattress. I also dont recommend taking the stairs to the flat at night as there are no lights in the corridor which wasnt great.

Well located, only a few minutes walk from the central area but nice and quiet! Just be aware that it is a little hard to find on the street but look out for the Kalamonjo sign then enter the building, it is located on the third floor (there is an elevator). Giorgia was a wonderful and kind host, she answered all of our questions and helped us with transport options. Comfortable rooms with all amenities included and a great breakfast.
