I was very satisfied with my stay here. The hotel was clean and comfortable, and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The location was excellent, close to the city center and the Botanical Garden, which made it very convenient for exploring the city. I would definitely recommend staying here.

The hotel is located in the city center, not far from the Train Station. The building is ancient, but the hotel is renovated and has everything you need for a good stay. Pietro, a manager of the hotel is a very good person and helps you 24/7.

This hotel offers old world charm in the midst of a chaotic and noisy city. That is not a dig on Palermo, just explaining that stepping in to the hotel provides a calm and quiet escape from the outside world. You can sit outside with the coffee made fresh in the lobby for you, sit at the wee lobby bar and enjoy a reasonably priced refreshment, and enjoy a walk in the lovely botanical gardens adjacent to the hotel. The folks here are kind and welcoming, as well.
Perhaps have the air conditioning units cleaned because the room and the lobby never got as cold as I would have liked. Mind you, it was 97 degrees outside, so higher than normal temperatures, but a good cleaning would provide a cooler inside experience. Thank you and see you soon!

The bed was comfortable, bedroom and bathroom were cleaned every day and staff members were polite and professional. I spent five full days (6 nights) in Palermo. I visited the famous monuments of the city and went on a couple of day trips using public transportation. I took the bus to Monreale and the train to Cefalù - both turned out to be very easy. Both towns are worth visiting. The central train station and the bus station are only a short walk away.
The only flaw I found is not the hotel’s fault. The area is not the nicest in the city. It’s a bit run down. However, I didn’t have any problems and didn’t see anything to worry too much about. The positive side of the location is the easy access to public transportation.

The hotel is walking distance from the Central train station, a few steps from the waterfront at the edge of the old town. There are several good restaurants in the vicinity.
Rather dated furniture/fixtures, but nothing that would make you regret your stay.

We had a large quad room that was a suite, two bedrooms and a kitchen. The bed was comfortable and the TV was great with both YouTube and Netflix.
The elevator could have been a little more comfortable.

I thought that breakfast was included, but I was told when I arrived that reserving through booking.com doesn't include breakfast. However, they recommended Café Rosanero, only a few minutes walk, which was an excellent, yummy surprise.
